Nothing beats Costco and their prices and policies. BJS IS AN AFTERTHOUGHT...I have been to only 2 Costcos, one across the Teterboro Airport (fairly new) which can be seen in the pictures I have attached, and a Costco down the shore off of rte 35. While both were great, the Teterboro Costco parking lot is a hot mess and Im being nice trust me. On the weekends come early or save it for another weekday early as well. Its just mob city. Already had my car door smashed by a runaway cart 2 guys were fighting over. Like really? Anyways, it doesnt merit a deduction in my eyes because these guys really have everything for the family you could need and as of late good Organic selections as I know most of their frozen goods may be loaded with unwanted chemicals. The air we breathe is bad enough. Lets stay healthy however we can and at a good price point I say...

Need Improvement. Its Costco, Whatdcha Expect? This Costco is overcrowded, mostly with people from NYC, due to its proximity to I-80 & the GWB. Even during the middle of the week. And Saturdays? Fuhgeddaboutit !!! The parking lot is a zoo. The checkout lines are a nightmare. Our Bergen County Blue Laws are a silly hypocrisy, leading to rushed madhouse traffic-clogged roads on Saturdays everywhere AND this Costco in particular. Its right across from a 24 Hour Walmart. Now Teterboro Landing shopping ctr has lots more shops & restaurants open, traffic is worse. Dont get me wrong. Some prices are great. The pharmacy has some good prices. But their hours are terrible, unlike a standard pharmacy, theyre NOT open on Sunday, even though they could be legally. Only open until 7 PM M-F, til 6 PM on Sat. Gas station is great. Competitive prices, Top Tier fuel.

Yes 1 star!!! And I hope people will find it useful Im very angry for their product quality ! 1. Fruits and vegetables I dont know what are they doing to them, but Im quite sure they over freezing them, I stopped buying them at costco because day or two after you bring them home the begin to rotten, even-thought you keep them in refrigerator . 2. Beef - looks red and nice from the outside, but when you unpack it and see the inner side, the color is almost dark green , had waist my time and gasoline to go back and return few times the steaks and ground meet. 3. Fish - Very poor quality salmon and fish in general, not fresh, it looks like that they just changing packing the labels. Bottom line Im buying more and more at Farmers Markets and Fish markets rather than in costco.

The pharmacy is pretty awful, there is a Indian(as in India) guy who is either a pharmacist or a pharmacy assistant whom I found to be extremely unprofessional and lethargic, he will lie to you to do not get the work done , like when I needed the Blood Pressure monitor to have by level tested, he bluntly refused to help me , saying I need to purchase one , I have been a longtime Costco member but the service has me thinking if I should move over to pharmacies like CVS. Please send such staff for training to treat customers irrespective of their race, creed , or anything equally . Or supervise them because these people come with a non American culture from their respective countries and bring over their hatred for certain people along with them.

I think it is funny that so many people are giving one and two star reviews because they live in Hackensack and need to drive an extra 5 minutesmto get to the store. I love even more that I no longer need to drive through towns like Hackensack. Strategically located near highways 17, 46, and 80, the store is MUCH more convenient for everyone else in the region to get to. Parking is larger than the Hackensack store, but always has been, and always will be an issue. Lets rate the store on its merits: Quality food and products? Yes. Reasonable costs? Yes. Service? Better than former Hackensack location. Extra points for on-site gas statoiom. 5 stars.

Hate giving Costco just an "OK" rating but Im not thrilled they moved from Hackensack, NJ to Teterboro, NJ. Parking is impossible here! Its next to Walmart, not a bad thing but thats what makes parking impossible! Two super mega stores right next to each!! Whose bright idea was this?!?! You would think they are giving away merchandise! Its a mad house in both stores and Christmas shopping season hasnt officially begun. Can you imagine once that starts?! Now I have to strategically plan my visits ... a luxury I dont have! Attention Costco Corporate: Im not happy!

Costco has top quality items you want to buy that dont require buying in large bulk just family size. The produce is always fresh with a variety of choices and organic options. The specialty departments like the tire center and electronics have top quality name brand items at prices less than top market competitors. My friends and family are always asking me where did you get that, and often times my reply is; I got it at Costco you should get a membership.

Bad move. Costco recently moved here from their location in Hackensack. This place is always overcrowded and the configuration of the parking lot means youll be walking a lot. The gas station is usually a few cents cheaper than anywhere else locally. In a shopping center with a Wal-Mart. The Hackensack location reopened as a Costco Business Center but still has many of the same items including kosher meats and frozen foods. Go there instead.

Siempre que voy tengo la sensación de que todo es pensado para favorecer al cliente, pero no solo eso, me siento parte de la entidad. Como si entrara a mi casa. Necesitamos uno en WEST NEW YORK, NJ. Please!!!

Not just a wholesale megastore. It sells everything, vegetables, meat, cheese, beverages, eggs, milk, appliances, cars, roof, pet supplies, medications, engine oil, eyeglasses, furnitures and a onsite food court! Gas price is always the best in the area. You dont need a membership to fill up your tank, but payment by Visa card only. The biggest pain of shopping there is very limited parking space.

Crowed and crowed. The line of gas is extremely long and so does the check out line. The salad and fruit is not fresh. I bought lots of times and it always rotten quickly. Though the price is more affordable than local store but the quality is bad. Shopping should be happy. But each time I feel angry and want to leave this place as soon as possible due to crowed people and carts and old ladies.

This is Bigger than the one that was in Hackensack, but the parking is a nightmare. We shopped here four times after they opened. Always way too many people with limited amount of parking space. It takes an average of 10 plus minutes to wait for an opening. I heard that other stores will be built nearby which will eventually add to the overflow. Poorly planned and a real big inconvenience.

Costcos platform is to have a small margin on merchandise and the membership is their profit. So no, they have to charge membership because that is part of their business platform.Otherwise, they will have to charge more for their merchandise which is no different from Walmart, Target. Your savings at Costco are more than what you pay for yearly membership and most shoppers realize that.

Im super happy they moved closer to my moms house. The store is huge! I dont think there is something I will write here, that you dont already know about. So I will say what you all probably think: That they should waive the yearly membership fee. I would love to get an answer from a Costco representative to explain to me why the insist on that. If we ignore that, they are the best!
