Im usually one to be politically correct and rarely review anything. But I was so displeased with a member of management and the swearing and muttering RETARD that countless people have lodged complaints about that they have retrieving the carts. The manager was a short pudgy gentleman with glasses named Steve I believe he seems to always be in a bad mood and from what Ive noticed treats his employees terribly. I have no idea who would want to work for this man. The real reason I am complaining is the mentally handicapped man that I recently learned was over 40 years old. Ive witnessed him ridin those electric carts for the elderly around and using them the push carts. Ive been told by others that he yells at people driving through and curses constantly and slams the carts together loudly and hard enough that they occasionally get stuck and I will NEVER come back again... EVER

Some of the prices are just as expensive or more expensive than regular supermarket and they want you to buy in bulk When the gas station opened you were saving between .05 and $0.10 a gallon (now about a month-and-a-half later) youre saving Maybe $0.03 only and they dont have any paper towels ever, they simply dont Supply them so if you spill something or want to wipe your windshield or your hands off with a paper towel youre out of luck Overall I think Price Choppers or Market Basket is a better place to shop for Supermarket things at BJs you just really have to watch the prices I do not know if Ill renew of my membership

Its no Costco Wholesale, but in the Upper Valley its the next best thing unless you want to drive 2 hours. You do have to be careful about dates in the refrigerated section. I often find that pulling something from the back results in an older date and that a 24 pack of yogurt might only be a couple days from coding. Good luck getting through it! I appreciate how much they support local non-profits including LISTEN, the Upper Valley Haven and the Grafton County Sr Citizens Council. All-in-all, its a great resource and the new gas station is amazing.

Im not sure where the person who reveiwed before me went, but this BJs has absolutely zero managers, manager assistants, GMs, or District Managers that are named Steve, nor are short and pudgy. Perhaps he ran into a homeless person? Perhaps the member is just delusional, who the hell knows? Weve been going to this wholesale club for the longest time now. The people are always awesome, especially Merna and Eva. Everyone knows you, and theyll remember you if youre a "frequent flyer", per se.

BJs since its purchase by a private equity firm has changed a lot. The latest is not for the better as they have decided that anytime they will have no more the 1 or 2 maned checkouts and have increased there auto checkouts to 6 lanes. The lines for the maned check outs are always way deep and no one at the self checkout. Yet, they are hurting because they are giving out $10 to comeback. That tells you they are not doing well.

In spite of not being familiar with the layout of the store, we were able to locate almost everything we wanted with very little effort. As is true of every store they dont have everything. The limited varieties of products is probably how they keep costs lower. But that strategy is why Amazon takes their lunch money.

Nice place to shop. With more than three nearby grocery chains, BJs stands out as the only Wholesale Club in the area. The staff and Membership Services desk both seemed to be run by positive friendly staff. Looking forward to shopping here in the future and getting gas for way cheap,

Very good! I enjoyed walking around the store and seeing where things were. I bought gas at rheir pumps. I also got help from a few emplyees who were quit helpful. All in all a good visit.

Super cheap when buying in bulk. The deli has the best prices on cheeses or sliced meats vs. any grocery store in the area, and buying in bulk is not required from the deli.

Large lot items. Paper goods and staples which have a long shelf life. Good for bulk purchase items and some electronics. Staff is friendly and helpful.

How can you beat $2.10 for a gallon of gas and an extra 10Cent discount if you use a BJs card. $2.00 a gallon in VT/NH is unheard of.

Always shop here for Staples and other items. Great for a family to stock up, and you cant beat the quality or the prices!
