I had about a half an hour of spare time before my next run and since I had been running all day since 4:45 without a bite to eat or even some coffee I decided to stop in and see if i could grab something quick as it would be my only chance till around 4:30. I arrived just after 11:00 and was surprised to see that there was a line about 6 or 7 customers deep. As I waited and saw several empty tables I was a little concerned there was a problem but after some of those in front of me walked away I saw a woman come out of the kitchen and then up to seat the next customers so I am guessing it might have been a shift change thing going on. I was seated only a short time later and had a server come by a few minutes later when I told her everything I wanted which was just a cup of coffee and an apple dumpling. After she took the order I decided to play the peg game that was on the table and before my coffee came out I found out I was a genius. I gave a 4 star rating only because it has been a couple years since I was able to reach that level so I am feeling generous. The apple dumpling came out shortly after my coffee so there really was no wait although the cup did run dry before I was half way done my snack so I guess I should have also asked for water with the coffee. The dumpling was good as usual and held me over quite nicely till I was able to get home around 5:00 and make dinner for my family so I am glad I came by and would do it again. Take whatever info you want from this review but as for me and my family we have a lot of good fond memories of Cracker Barrel especially this one as it is local and will continue to eat here unless they try to come up with some new pc policy that we will not support.

Less than 1. My family and i have been going to cracker barrel in pennsville nj for about 3 years. For the last 2 months we have gone every sunday. The past 4 sundays things got worse. I am appaled at the time and service. Today 3/20/16 we went in, got quoted a time of 15-20 min. Waited a half hour. We have a 7 year old a 3 year old and a 2 year old. We finally got seated and it took our server 4 minutes to get to us. She was in the back the whole time. Mean while other tables had their drinks. She came over and sat down and was bery unprofesional. By the time we got our drinks another table had started to get their food. We waited 25 minutes before we even saw our waitress again. Then the manager came over and told us one of the grills was down and it would be a couple mor minutes. I looked at the other big top and they were not only seated 5 minutes after us there were 6 people and they were getting their food. We all got up and walked out. The manager did not apologize or anything. We are now looking for a new sunday brunch spot and we have told all of our friends and family about our expierence and they just lost alot of customers.

I have only had good expediences here. The servers are pleasant and the food is good. The bathrooms have always been clean when I went as well. We often go on Friday nights around 7pm and have never had to wait. There are quite a few seats here. Saturday morning is a different story but still the wait is only 10-15 minutes. I had to take 1 star away though. My only gripe is that the servers seem to forget some of your items. On 3 different occasions with 3 different servers part of my order was missing. They forgot the biscuits, then the mac and cheese and then the drink I asked for. The always apologize and bring it out right away but I shouldnt have to remind them. So, make sure you check your order when the food comes out. Overall, very good experience and I will definitely go back.

If you notice that I did not give out anying starts. Mediocre, miss steps, can improve. The question is will they. Its not just crack barrel. Here are a few. Ready I HOP , Dennys, Bob Big Boys , Perkins, Oliver Garden ,Red Loster or anying restaurant food chain. Now this does not include the following restaurants. Cheese Cake Factory Miller Ale House , PF Chans , Ruth Steak House, Fire Birds . Now these Restaurant chains do a 80% to 20 % with there food. Not the 90% to 10% with there food. Have a nice day . Remember only you can f*** it up. Holla

Ive been to this location a half a dozen times and this was the most disappointing, taste was there just customer service was lacking in the dining room and the retail store, we got food that we ordered wrong, had to ask for jams like 3 xs and after biscuit were no longer warm. It was a birthday celebration for a first timer, and as a former employee for home office district I was excited to introduce my friend to the world of cracker barrel with my family. Was also disappointed no strawberry shortcake a June favorite :(.

I love cracker barrel however my last trip over last weekend was terrible! I ordered sampler and got a tiny piece of ham which was mainly bone so when I bright it to the attention of the easier he apologized and brought out a larger piece of ham however they put sooo much salt on this piece of ham it was inedible! I almost wanted to go back and force the chef to eat it himself because I believe he did it on purpose since I was unhappy with first. I wish I took a pic of first piece.

Had lunch here on way home from road trip from Jersey to Delaware, from Delaware to Florida, from Florida back to Delaware, then back to Jersey. Long, exausting trip. Our server was extremely friendly, knowledgable and curteous. Her service was outstading! (Wish I could remember her name!) Made sure that what I was ordering was gluten free. Food was amazing! Had never been to Cracker Barrel prior. Will return! You have a new customer! Joseph Gorman!

Now that Brads wife has been fired without a reason, I have downgraded my review. So tired of corporations that do not care about their employees and the public. I will not be eating there anytime again is this is the way that they act. If their PR people are making above minimum wage then they are making way too much. And the worthless CEO that is in hiding during all of this, what a coward.

I go to CBs wherever Im traveling & would love to say how the food was but never got the chance. I guess they dont get too many folks of color as patrons, but my $$$$ is just as green as anybody elses. We were sat in a far corner & a waitress acknowledged/served an adjacent table. I complained to the mgmt & walked out. Not gonna spend my $$$$ where Im treated like a 2nd class citizen
