Ive loved this shop since I first stumbled upon it in 1988 when I barely had any money to even think about getting a bike. But still, the owners tolerated my stopping in and ogling all their machines from time to time. Eventually I bought a bike from them and thus began a relationship that has only strengthened over time. I have bought a few bikes from them since then and even sold a few on consignment. When it comes to servicing my machines, they are the only choice in my book. Speer Yamaha is the antithesis to the modern day boutique shop. They are old school, honest and a joy to deal with. Cant say enough about FW Speer. Go patronize them and see what I am talking about for yourself. You will not regret it.

To say these guys are great is an understatement. I first did business with them back in 2007 - I was getting the run around from my local Yamaha dealer in Queens, NY and was looking around trying to price out a new motorcycle. In what was about a 5 minute cold-call phone call to Joe about a bike I was looking for turned into a quick follow up and deposit on my first new motorcycle. No nonsense - honest, helpful - good guys. Ive bought 2 motorcycles from them to date (06 Roadliner S and an 11 FZ8) and they handle all my service. If you want a GOOD dealer who is gonna be there after you buy your bike, go here. Sales - great Service - great Parts - great

I just recently bought a TW 200 as my first motorcycle from F.W. Speer Yamaha and it was the easiest and best buying decision i have had to make. Vito and Joe both recommended this bike for my first one and I was immediately happy with the choice. The service department is just as friendly and knowledgeable. Ray answered any and every question i had about the motorcycle and always does the best work. My dad has also been going to speer yamaha for any riding need for the past 20 +years. I have been to Speers for the past 10 years of my life because my family only rides Speer Yamaha bikes, they are the best in the business and are extremely friendly.

FW Speer Yamaha is Awesome!!! I have been doing business with FW Speer Yamaha for over two decades and purchased four motorcycles over that timeframe. They have always been knowledgeable and professional (Period). I would recommend them to anyone.....If you are even just thinking about motorcycling, you will want to visit Speer Yamaha. They will ensure you are treated right, provided all the information to make the right decisions, and provide quality service when you need it.

Ive been been servicing my Yamaha 650 , at FW Speer Yamaha, for 7 years and never had a problem with the employees or with their service. They always go above and beyond expectations. They are highly trained individuals with may years of experience. They take care of you as if you are part of their family. If you are looking to purchase a Yamaha or need service, this is the place to go. You can always depend on them to do things right.

The guys at Speer Yamaha are some of the best in the business. Ive purchased several bikes and a quad from them and Ive received nothing but the best service. They are one of the few surviving smaller shops and the giant dealerships cant touch them when it comes to a buying or servicing experience. If you are in the market for a Yamaha or Star motorcycle you are doing yourself a disservice not to give them a visit.

There is no one better in the business. I have solicited numerous Yamaha Certified Dealers and service departments. This is by far, the best and most TRUSTWORTHY people. They have a sense of pride and know the product. Ultimately, I travel past three closer MC/ATV dealers/service businesses to get to Passaic and the family at Speer. Enough said, they are second to none. Thank you Vito, Joe, Ray, Kenny and crew.

F.W. Speer yamaha is hands down the best motorcycle shop in New Jersey. Not only do they have the most knowledgable sales and service staff around, there is a friendly atmosphere, there is no B.S. when you deal with them. I trust my repairs to no shop except Speers, and I always order my parts from them. Ive moved halfway across the country, and I still have all my parts ordered and shipped through Speer.

I can honestly say that FW Speer Yamaha is the best place in tri state area for bikes / parts and service. I have bought multiple bikes from them and rely on them for all my service needs. Everyone I recommend becomes a customer for life... You dont survive this long in this business without doing things right... These guys do everything right... Try them... You wont be disappointed.

These guys are the best ( and oldest) Northern NJ Dealer. Servicing is absolutely First Class, I have dealt with all the other local dealers and they are awful.. these guys are number one. Parts and knowledge of parts could not be better and their prices for new bikes are unbeatable even by those useless "mall" places who are unable to service the bikes they sell.

Speers Yamaha maybe the oldest, continuously operating Yamaha franchised dealer in the United States. You dont survive for 50 years by not being the best. Whos the oldest franchise? It was a Yamaha dealer in Texas who appears to no longer be in business which means.... this is the oldest Yamaha dealer in the United States. Ive been using Speers since 1968.

I had great experience this weekend as I bought my first motorcycle at FW Speer. The owners (Joe and Vito) will make you comfortable and are knowledgable to answer all of your questions. The difference between this dealership and others, is that, they dont push sale. If you are in NY and NJ, I certainly recommend that you stop by this dealership.

I have never bought a motorcycle from them but I use them for service all the time. They are professional, knowledgeable and honest. The service pricing is fair and reasonable and the quality of service is top notch. I recommend them to all my friends, especially if they are in the market for a Yamaha or Star motorcycle.

Professional and honest service. Been to cycle therapy in NYC and Prospect Motor cycle in Brooklyn, horrible customer and mechanical service from both. Highly recommend FW yamaha! A little bit out the way but definitely worth the trip if you want your bike fix by professionals.

I called to have a recall done on my 15 R1. I was told they wouldnt do it and to take it back to the dealer I bought my bike from. Very helpful. You would think theyd want to get more loyal, repeat customers. I guess not. Either their people skills are terrible or theyre lazy.

mom and pop kinda shop, everybody there is kind and helpful. very personal kinda feel to it, you dont feel like a sale you feel like a friend. these guys are trustworthy and good people. if you go anywhere else your settling for a lower quality. plus they have good prices !
