Rode to NY to see a buddy. While I was visiting I smashed a pothole, destroying my front wheel and blowing the tire. I dropped the bike off at Hudson Valley HD and came back home to NC. When the wheel, tire, and bearings were changed I was finally able to have my buddy get the bike down to me. I immediately noticed a problem. The left brake disc was VERY loose and floppy. Took it to my dealer (Ft. Bragg HD). They told me that the spring washers were never installed under the bolt heads. Got that rectified and then noticed my front end hopping at highway speeds. Took it back to my dealer and diagnosed that the incorrect bearing was installed on one side. I will never have anything to do with this dealership again. Ill rent a truck and trailer to get it home next time and have my dealer fix it. Shoddy workmanship in the service department.

First time- bought rear brake pads for my 2001 HD. When I got things apart realized I didnt them. Wanted to return them and they would only give me a store credit. :0( Second visit- needed some very common gaskets. Between carb. and filter housing. Inner and outer. Not In stock. :0(( Third visit- Called to see if they could balance a wheel/tire. Yes- minimum for a 1/4 hr. $26. Ok Im thinking - understandable enough but a bit overpriced. I get there with the wheel the tech says they dont have the spoke weights for my wheel. They have the stick-on type. Ok then lets do it. Then they say to come back at the end of the day to pick it up. I was there at 2:00 or so. I took my biz elsewhere. Seems they dont want to accommodate or deal with older HDs.

After being a loyal Harley Davidson owner since 1974 and a loyal customer for all these years at Bergen County Harley having my 1995 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide serviced there every year they told me last year, " Dont bother bringing in your bike to us anymore". When I asked why I was told my bike is too old and they wont work on it. Too old? Its not a pan head or an old shovel head, its an Evo engine.I have always been welcome in all dealerships except this one as well as Rockland County Harley. Its hard to believe that they wont service my bike. So much for loyalty to the customer. I dont want to give them one star but I have to to post this.

From the moment I walked in, the staff (as well as other customers!) has been welcoming, engaging, and knowledgeable. Its obvious the location really believes in the familial culture it promotes. Don, Anthony, Jackie, Mike, Bill, and Sean all really spent considerable time answering my questions and walking me through the process of a rider to rider sale and made sure the sale itself was quick and painless, going off without a hitch. Definitely pay them a visit for any of your needs!

As a beginner motorcycle enthusiast, it was a little intimidating walking into a Harley store. I wasnt quite sure what to expect. I met Don, who has now become my motorcycle guru zen master! He took a genuine concern as to what I was looking to gain from motorcycling and gave me sage advice. Although I didnt purchase a bike today, when I do decide what I am looking for, it will be at Hudson Valley HD in Nanuet.

Purchased a new Harley here last week. Everyone in the store was super friendly and helpful. I had checked deals on the same bike with the same trade-in at three different dealerships, HVH gave me the best price by far! As a business owner myself for 15 years, I know the importance of good customer service and a knowledgeable staff, HVH has both!. Looking forward to a long relationship here.

In the end, the dealership came through. Tony Orlando (General Manager) is professional and was a pleasure to deal with. The dealership has a great selection of bikes and apparel. Rockland County has needed an HD dealer of their own so Im sure these guys will find success.

This store is like any other Harley-Davidson. The showroom has a lot of new Harleys, and the used section has bikes of various makes. The staff is friendly, and are very happy to help you. Every so often, events are held here too.
