so sad that Atlantic city has to have a grocery store as low budget as this store, theres never enough cashiers, lines backed up 10 deep, the selection of food is either going bad or out of stock, and how many grocery stores do you know that has a armed guard at the front door that treats most as if their bags are filled with stolen goods. with a population of people that have a need for a local grocery store due to the over priced small stores such as 7/11, etcetera, we need a store that will respect the good people of Atlantic city, we have been taken advantage of for far too long, we need help, our city government, with the unfortunate crises at hand, need to turn their focus to the good citizens of Atlantic city, not only in time of reelection......

If youre not a local it can be a rough location, they hardly ever have any carts available if you go during a peak time.... Staff is usually friendly for the most part, but it seems like theyre completely understaffed and managed.. besides all that,great prices, you cant beat them anywhere.... but bring your own bag and or what I do is take a cardboard box if you can find any empty ones in the isle otherwise you have to purchase your bags for your groceries at the end..

I been going to save a lot for 2 years now and everything I need is right there in the store I dont have to go to other stores cause save a lot is very close to me I also talk with all the employees Everytime I go to save a lot also I even talk with the managers on a daily basic not to complain to them but to thank them on there trading of the employees on how to be friendly an polite which I give 5 star rating Thank You Again Save A Lot Tom Weinstein

Before recently I hated that they never have enough cashiers but the past few visits have been good. I seen 3 lines full when I walked in and by the time I walked up to check out they were gone. They have made much improvement. Great staff for the most part. Seems theyre in check. I did not like reaching for a bag of chips and seeing mouse poop and holes in the bags a few times but they have seem to correct the issue. Its been very on point.

The store is dirty. NO restrooms.(might be a good thing) There is always an unusual odor. The shelves are always fully stocked. The lines are extremely long AT ALL TIMES! Because, they never have enough registers open! The cashiers are very nice and helpful. The panhandlers in the front of the store are OVERWHELMING! They bum rush you for money!

actually, to the poster who wrote that it must be an "Urban thing" as to the reason for never enough cashiers. No its NOT. I live all the way down here on the Florida sw coast and our little store is in an all white area and is consistently short staffed!. Deals are fantastic, but never enough help!

NEVER EVER have enough people at the register. They have like 4-5 lanes and no matter how busy they will have 1-2 working. And you will wait almost everytime. Manager is cheap! A huge and blatant Disservice to the people of the area. I guess the areas too "urban" for them to consider their customer.

Store was a typical save a lot but the plaza is terrible.While i was there a guy tried to steal a pack of white castle frozen cheeseburgers but they fell out of his pants when he ran,shortly after that there was an argument outside.

Neighborhood is horrible, if youre not using Families First youre in the minority. Your check out wait time is usually twice as long as your shopping time. Prices are very reasonable but its a scary place.
