These ppl must have had a bad experience. Ill take foodtown with me if i have to move. Ive seen clientele in there that are the ones probably leaving bad reviews. Its a shame that a great, convenient, well stocked, independent grocery store just so happens to be surrounded by middle class homes and transient housing. Weed out the 2 complainers who have plenty of time on their hands bc they do not work and you have a thriving grocery store with people who want to avoid the hassle of shop rite, the disgust of pathmark, and the overpriced, understocked A/P. The ppl who left bad reviews should probably shop at Krausers and walmart. Shop rite has given me expired items, it happens, taking it up w customer service is the hassle. Foodtown, you will always leave happy. if u have a complaint, go to the customer service desk. Dont hold an anonymous grudge for the world to see. To fly off the handle is crazy, foodtown is a family run business. You will get comforting help if you go to them with your issue. Try it with shoprite! youll be waiting forever just to be handed back your item! FOODTOWN IS THE BEST! adding Hiawatha Pharmacy was a great move! best store combined with best pharmacy!!!!! plus the flower stocker is really cute and the coldcuts SMOKE shoprites.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! I shop at this Foodtown every week and spend over $100, i dont mind paying a little more than Shoprite because it is so much more convenient for me, tonight i went shopping and as i went to check out the cashier Kyla looked at the other cashier working and said " Youre really going to leave me with this order, wow thanks." She said this because i had a larger order, this is not the first time she has been rude. I usually try to avoid her line but she was the only empty line. The one good thing is that every other time I go AnnMarie is always very helpful and friendly!

I like the convenience of this store..being local, makes it easy to shop for all your needs w/out going far from home. In fact, I like walking there & find it actually improved my health because of the increased daily exercise routine. In addition, their hours are very convenient for those with a busy schedules & you dont have to contend with long lines at checkout. An all around good place to shop..good food, location, short lines, courteous staff.

Im putting 1 star but it should 0 stars. They have young Muslim girls working there I went tonight and they are completely disrespectful and racist. The three girls should be fired for their behavior. I will never go there again. Im appalled at how they acted and will make sure I tell others about the employees behavior at this store! I am not racist at all and cant even comprehend how these young girls are being raised. Shame on them!

Its great for quick shopping. Prices are not that much more. Only a few cents here and there on most items. Some are even less. Staff is excellent. The sales in deli is better then others in area. They have everything shop rite has. Instead of 10 different brands of pasta you might find 4 brands, just an example. If you are not particular about brands you can get your whole shopping done

I remember going here as a kid in the mom getting all kind of deals at superfood town which I think was a Grand Union at one time but being back in Parsippany like I walked this is a decent place to get what you need and get the discounts they always give senior citizen discounts got to get some pork roll some good food and New Jersey as usual super Foodtown provide that

This supermarket is disgusting as the woman below said. Constantly find expired items. Hot prepared foods are put out at 9 A.M. and sit there until 7 P.M., then they sell the dried out food thats been sitting in grease all day at a discount. Produce is gross, bakery items poorly made. They should be shut down.

Their prices and selection are about average. But I still like shopping at this store. It looks and feels like a blast from the past. They even play classic oldies music. And their employees are helpful and courteous.
