This is a smaller, more neighborhood type store so maybe not ideal for your weekly grocery shopping trip. But its great to have a supermarket within walking distance and they have all the essentials including deli counter. The store is clean, staff is mostly friendly and managers have been responsive on the few occasions I had a problem over the past few years.

The people are nice and its clean however there are always HUGE long lines. They never have enough people working and there is no self check out line. Also many of the aisles arent filled with the stuff that you want. I would call it a small grocery store not a supermarket like Shop Rite or the way A&P used to be.

WORSE STORE EVER! customer service is the WORSE from the cashier to the managers are completely RUDE!!!!!!!! they dont understand the concept of customer is always RIGHT!!!!! that went out the door with these staff.. I only go there because is the only supermarket in town otherwise they would not have my business

This is a fine small grocery store. Limited selection, but hits all the major needs for a quick trip for a missing item or late minute need. Tiny deli and no fresh meats and seafoods--youll have to go elsewhere for that. They do, however, have a decent selection of Kosher and vegetarian/vegan products.

Very slow cashiers, rude management, poor selection. To top it off, most of the customers are slow as well. Avoid this shop and stop at all costs! Update: credit card acceptance down. "We have an ATM you could use." Yeah, like Im going to pay the fee on that for the privilege of shopping here.

This Stop and Shop is fine, but nothing special. As a resident of Highland Park I occasionally need to run out for one or two ingredients, and most of the times I can find, but the selection is limited. The employees are friendly, but getting through the register lines can be a little slow.

I often find myself coming here because its convenient, I need just one or two items, and there isnt another choice inside Highland Park. Prices seem inflated, I prefer shopping at the Shoprite in Edison or Piscataway.

Its ok, but due to the small size theres less of a selection than other grocery stores. However, if you live in or around Highland Park, it definitely saves you a drive. Staff here are super friendly and great!

Yeh selection is poor. Yeh, it is small. What is more troubling is many times at the register they charge more then the price on the shelf. It happens every time I go there. From gum, to fruit to potatoes.

I feel like they are phoning it in. People use it as a very large convenience store. Everything is just meh, nothing special. I would like a larger kosher selection, and some upgrades to the store.

This store is all about location. It sells the basics of what I need. The interior looks old and there are often long lines at the checkout, but the location is very convenient for me.

Horrible. I walk in to use the Deli at 9:30 and the lady at the deli turns off at the lights and starts cleaning in the back. She then ignores me. The deli closes at 10!!!
