VERY disappointed lately... First I would like to sat.. The store managers Mike and Pete are awesome... They are alway there with a hello and a smile, working hard stocking themselves to try to make sure things are great.. Brian in Produce IS THE BEST and always goes above and beyond to help me out.. Yesterday really left a bad taste in my mouth....The bakery seems to be very inconsistent and when I ask for something they act as if I am an inconvenience.. I asked the girl at the desk...not the courtesy desk, the one in front of check out, if she can call another store to see if they had an item.. She called the other store to check for me, they didnt have it.. I was not finished with my request and she continued talking to the girl at the other store about her daughters Pizza Party.. She saw me standing there still waiting , looked me right in the eye and continued talking about her personal life.. I stood there a few minutes , and eventually left.. I had a sizable amount of groceries to buy, as I am there every day and spend a lot of money there EVERYDAY.. I left without purchasing, because of her intentional ruddiness.. Stop and Shop lost my sale because of her.. I am still debating whether I ever want to return there, except in a bind..Although Shoprite is a few more minutes away.. I went there and spent my 224 dollars.

Stop & Shop is my main gocery store and this store in Wanaque is great. A huge selection of rolls and bagels. Muffins are good as long as you arrive before 8:00pm. Produce is always fresh. Selection of Pizza dough is not the best and should improve with fresh wheat pizza. Asocaites are the best like the Morris Plains Store.

Very poor customer service...the lower level employees pick up their trends and attitudes from the mid-level floor managers and are quite rude, condescending and unpleasant in manner. Will not go into further details on the experience here, but an official in corporate will definitely be hearing from me soon!

Basic grocery store. Almost impossible to find help. Long lines, probably to encourage you to use self-checkout so they can employ even fewer actual people. And every weekend catches them by surprise, so theyre out of just about everything by Sunday.

This is disgustingly OVERPRICED! Everything is so expensive. What a joke. Do you expect all of us to have coupons? Bakery items were also expensive and tasted like crap. Ill give them that the place was clean.

This stop n shop has the weakest selection for people that use wic and its like they have NEVER seen anyone use wic before..its pretty ridiculous and crazy how the cashier looks at you for using it...not cool...

Meat selection is usually limited and sales will deplete stocks quickly. Produce MUST be inspected before you buy... most of the time your choices are "a little spoiled" or "moldy".

They have most things the average shopper needs. The bakery section in particular is great. Much of the rolls are delivered from Brooklyn every morning. Staff is generally helpful.
