I gave this store 3 stars because I feel that its just an average grocery store. Its not that its a bad store I just dont feel like its a store that I want to do my weekly shopping yet every week. I think you should go shopping at this store at least once and make your own decision. For example I eat a lot of seafood and Stop & Shop does not have a fresh seafood department. All of their Seafood is pre-packaged and preweighed and theres not a very large selection. With that being said the only purchase Ive ever made is a salmon fillet and it was a very good salmon fillet. I wish they had a fresh seafood department. Another example is their vegetables. I pretty much only buy fresh vegetables. Once again some of their vegetables they just dont have loose for you to choose what you want and how much you want of it. Ive gone in there several times to get brussel sprouts, green beans, cauliflower etc. I dont know why but they just dont have certain vegetables loose for you to take what you want. They come in prepackaged bags. If I want to buy brussel sprouts like I have the last two times Ive been in there I have to either buy one bag that contains a pound or two bags that are a pound of piece. Theres no in-between. They do have a large selection of vegetables but I dont like having to buy pre-packaged bags. With that being said all of the prepackaged bags I have bought have been fresh and tasty but I wish they had more of a selection of loose vegetables that you can choose from. Yesterday was my first trip to the deli I dont usually purchase pre-made salads but I was in a rush and thought I would try them. I got the store brand coleslaw the store brand macaroni salad and the store brand potato salad. I really was not happy with any of them. But then again they were all the store brand I think if I were going to try any of their salads again I would not purchase the store brand but would try one of the other brands. They were all kind of tasteless they definitely needed Salt and Pepper maybe some celery seed and more mayonnaise. The macaroni salad was more than al dente. It definitely needed to be cooked a minute or two longer. It was very firm and still had that really starchy pasta taste. I would not recommend the Stop & Shop brand salads at the deli. Maybe you could ask them for a sample before you purchase something that would be a good idea. Overall they have a large selection throughout the store its very clean and has large Isles and the staff is always very pleasant. I would say prices are average. Like I said I think this is one of those places where you just need to go shopping once and decide whether you like it or not. I do stop in here all the time to grab things but I do not do my weekly shopping here.

Some produce is old and not very fresh. Beware of their asparagus. Oftentimes it is shriveled and has mushy tops. Some items are not stocked or run out and not restocked for a long time that you can find easily at Shop Rite such as wild rice, Pub Cheese, grass fed steaks, Cambozola cheese. Cheese selections are limited. Fresh fish selections are limited. Some store brands are very good such as their store brand Marinara sauce. A mixed bag. Deli section very slow. Kiosk to order deli items is often out of service. Deli counter workers dont call out numbers sometimes so your number might be missed after waiting 15 minutes and youll have to get a new number and play the long waiting game again. Store needs some rethinking.

Prices are high here. Prepackaged cold cuts are only cut in large amounts, so if your a single , your forced to wait on line at the deli to have a smaller amounts cut. Also with the amount of seniors in this area, the milk , butter and eggs are in the far left back corner of the store. Why not a small refrigerator case at the front of the store for their covenience. Bulk peanuts are 5.99 here compared to SavALot at 4.99. No fresh seafood and pricey stereotypical meat department. Very disappointed , that this store is not more proactive with their approach to the extremely large senior population

Im so glad Stop & Shop is near me. I appreciate their courteous service and the convenience of PNC bank being right there so I can do my banking while shopping. Their produce is fresh and their healthy food selection is awesome. I keep finding ORGANIC veggies and fruits and GLUTEN free breads and frozen foods, and healthy organic meats. All I can say is Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Over priced for all items, Shoprite is way cheaper. PLUS what store closes their deli 2 hours before closing time??? Especially a day before a blizzard coming our way?? I never shop at this store however only went today because Shop Rite was already closed for the night - thanks for the reminder why Stop & Shop sucks!!! Would be 0 stars if I could!!!

Great store the only reason why i am giving it three stars is because I walked up to the door at 10:50pm to grab something really quick, a girl told me they where closed and all the registers where put away! I dont usually get upset but I needed medicine for my wife and I couldnt get it because they decided to close early.

I have been shopping here since 2005 and always find the store clean, employees friendly & helpful. On Fri 6/24 I was in a rush to get items to celebrate a graduate & was so impressed by the assistance I recvd from the 2 ladies that were working in the florist. Thank you!!!!

Good Stop & Shop. They have everything you want. Deli slicer area is a little dirty. Pharmacy was closed when google said it would be open late at night. Otherwise, standard supermarket.
