I have been going to this Shop Rite since it opened. The store itself is OK. The alcohol and oyster bar located in the middle of the store is the most idiotic placement and waste of space Ive ever seen. The service by most of the checkers is poor at best. There are a few who are very capable but this is rare. This evening, as usual, my checker didnt want to bag my groceries. Why is this such a big deal? Are the checkers trained to be rude? This guy tossed most of my groceries into the bag I provided and he was done (as far as he was concerned). There are some stores (like Wegmans) that bag your groceries automatically. I probably shouldnt blame the people who work there, they dont know any better. Where I should place the blame is the manager of the store. Wake up and take a look at the people who are working for you. Train them in good customer service.

The people who work at learning center at this shoprite is very rude, unfriendly, unpleasantly, disgusting, you name it! Especially the manager! She is always rude and give us a dirty look whenever we drop off our kids there while we doing our shopping. Its beyond worst that we had ever experienced anywhere we go that offer this kind of service. It was a totally different experience when it was first opened. Kim was the person who work there before who was very lovable and great with kids! If Shoprite doesnt welcome kids to play there while parents shop then they should consider just close this department. Why even border to have such a disgrace department! I would give a negative stars if there is an option of that! Just disgusted!

Love this store and what it has to offer. HOWEVER, the SMOOTHIE BAR LADY was very rude and didnt wait on us. There was someone before us she waited on and then walked back to wash out her blenders. There were two other co-workers back there preparing other foods. She looked up from her sink at us and then proceeded to keep washing never acknowledging us. My daughter said excuse me to get her attention, and the other co-worker turns back to get her attention. She looks at both of us and the other women and says, I know, I know, and looks back down to continue her task and ignore us. At that point we left the store. Her customer service was awful and I have never been treated so rudely. Unfortunate mark for the store.

This is a high quality grocery store. Its more expensive than some of the other local options, but they stand by their products. I once returned a bag of oranges that were 3 days old, having discovered mold on one of them. They refunded them and apologized. They once had a product recall for something I had purchased and they called the number associated with my card.--basically theres great customer service! Dont ever try to shop there during holidays, however. There was literally no parking at 2pm on December 23rd. I tried the 24th at 7:30am and the crowds were horrendous. The staff handled it well, but still, its worth avoiding.

Extremely unpleasant experience @Morristown, NJ location........ customer service representative Patricia, instead of helping me out said "I dont understand these people". ....... She said so because she thought I wont react to her racist comments???? On confronting her, intead of apologising , she fought with me. Her manager said sorry on her behalf but she was giving disgusting looks till the time I got out of the shop Never going back there again !!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE the new store, the PEOPLE are friendly and always looking to help you in any way they can. i enjoy my visits to the beautiful kitchen and the chef is awesome! took the time to show me how to sharpen a knife , great people and one person in particular is Melissa Purcell i met her from going to shop-rite back in the day of millburn when my kids were little and she is by far the most dedicated , caring individual a person could ever meet. You know Melissa was in the isle when its done up perfectly!

The Shoprite brings new meaning to the term SUPERmarket. I wonder if there is ANY food item that is not available here. I only shop here a few times a year and would find it helpful if there was an app that would take me to an item I was looking for. Not necessarily a criticism, there are just too many choices of a single item. Im guess that overall their prices are favorable given their huge volume but Im not an accountant. The store is worth a visit like cruising the local mall.

Great selection of food (close but not quite Wegmans selection). Their butcher selection is usually top notch. Ive been in the area for 9 months and I still find the floor layout a little confusing at times. I understand the human psychological element to the floor design, the longer it takes you to find things, the more you are likely to buy. But I prefer Wegmans way of putting essentials right near the cash register so you can get in/out quick when needed.

Truly the best of grocery stores in the area. The village food garden offers hot foods similar to Whole Foods buffet and an attractive seating area to eat. The in-house wine, beer, and liquor store is well stocked with plenty of options. Along with ample packaged goods and standard grocery store fare, this ShopRite has an extensive produce department, in-house cheese & deli counters, as well as a premium bakery split between breads and desserts.

The layout out fabulous! Everything is so easy to find...theres so much room yet so much of a selection! A Juice bar...a book section...the organic sections are huge! It actually looks like a Whole Food but nicer, Im quite impressed. There are plently of big Shoprites, Wises ans Stop and Shops by me but this is actually worth the 30 minute commute. Also Shoprite parking lots are notorious for horrible, cramped parking...not here.

I went to shoprite and Jackie at customer service was so rude and disrespectful she looked drunk and on drugs.she has a nasty attitude and didnt even let us explain the problem we were having with our purchase.as soon as she saw me she went and called her assistant manager.Jackie took a photo of my daughter for no reason which was really disrespectful.hope you are more careful with the people you hire.

Tons of hot food options, to be quite honest, I havent made it back to where they have a normal grocery store...but I would imagine it is nice. Pizza, BBQ, Yogurt Bar, Salad Bar, International Hot Foods, Sandwich Maker, Hot Sandwich Maker, Sushi Bar, Smoothie Bar, and probably some more stuff Im forgetting. This has good food and something for everyone. Bit pricey though.

Large selection of everything. 27 length of aisle just for yogurts. Could have more variety of produce, but good quality. 60 well hot buffet bar, coffee bar, sushi counter, sandwich counter and industrial sized smokers means you could walk in, 4 months and not have the same thing twice for lunch. They could always have an cashier or two on it seems.
