I have always loved Acme in Somers Point it is a clean store. My husband prefers the meats and cold cuts from there only. Although their prices are far more higher than any other store. They also have eliminated items that I could only get there which was disappointing and the deli staff has changed so much in the last 6 months, that you wonder whats the iisue that they cant keep good staff. Plus the fish prices have increased way too much with smaller portions. The biggest issue, their produce is the worse part of the store, you cannot get certain things unless you pay the high price for Organics, and that is not right, so I split my shopping now with Somers Point ShopRite since they have better pricing and more options.

Unfortunately its the only grocery store on Brigantine island. No wonder why most Acmes are closing or closed. This store is HIGHLY overpriced. The fruits and vegetables look old and disgusting. Also did I mention overpriced?!?! Some of the freezers arent as cold as they should be. Sometimes there arent enough checkout lanes open because they are either short staffed or broken. This store definitely could use some upgrades. I really miss Shoprite. Looks like ill be driving 25 mins to Wal-Mart to get my shopping done because this place is the pits.

Sky high prices, just a so/so selection and BAD customer service. Perhaps the consistetly worst group of employees Ive ever encounted in a market. Living on the island as I do, I am sometimes forced to go there b/c (other than Joes) its the ONLY game in town. But not for long....if they dont improve soon. I predict theyll be gone within a year!

convenient for full time islanders, but the produce dept is poor, I have on several occasions unknowingly purchased foods that had expired sell by dates, frequently only one cashier open during the week, though there are self checkouts that work well if you have a smaller order. Store is old, needs major upgrades.

Only game in town so they make money in spite of themselves... 2 registers open..pallets of food everywhere and no selection...3 dollars a pound for ch. Wings.. stopping at shop rite from now on.. go to Joes at least they have service not ignorant union employees

If I could give it more stars, I would. Items were easy to find and the cashier, Tasheema was super friendly! The Brigantine location is the best Ive been to, and each location was friendly and clean!

Please buy the Dollar General next door & knock the wall out to expand. There are 10,000 people who live on the island full time and this store needs expansion. The aisles are too narrow.
