Unfortunately, the worst customer service ever! Shopping with my daughter for birthday gifts for my son-in-law,when asked if I wanted to open an Eddie Bauer frequent customer card. I replied "no", I would combine my purchases with my daughters since she and her husband were already frequent customers and I was not, and they were gifts for him anyway. The night "manager" or whatever she was, very curtly told me I could not combine our purchases, since my daughter gets "money back" from those purchases. Seriously?? The purchases were all for the same person. Does every person who shops in Eddie Bauer have to sign an affidavit that all of their purchases are for themselves?? This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Do they really care whose wallet the dollars come from? Over-price merchandise with "Made in China" labels and nasty cashiers...Is it any wonder A.C. is not recovering much from the shops of the Walk? They certainly had no need for my money. I politely left the merchandise on the counter and put my cash back in my pocket. Never shopping in this chain again.
