I usually just check out reviews to make an educated decision, I seldom write one. Ill take the time to give you my opinion. The before mentioned negative reviews are justified. Prior to entering the store I along with six other customers stood at the mall gate patiently waiting to be let in. Employees from the checked counter watch us while we stood there. I began watching customer who had entered from the parking lot side of the store begin shopping. After five minutes I asked, though the gate, why this gate wasnt open. Was told oh the manager is on his way to open the gate. Five more minutes pass, oh guess what!! You cant come in through this gate until the mall opens. OK, WHY DIDNT YOU SAY THAT IN THE BEGINNING!! So I walked around to the parking lot side and walked into the store. I was next shocked at the way I was treat by by the assist manager, not sure if he was the computer manager but he helped me price match an Apple Imac from the internet. His attitude was poor, as if I was boring him. I came close to telling him he could keep his computer, but he did price match the item. Overall two employees in the computer department where very helpful and nice. The Apple Manager and Brendan L. Definitely why I purchased the computer at Best Buy! Both should be commended as they are responsible for retaining a long time customer. I hope Best Buy Management is checking out these reviews. This store needs a change at the top!

Made me spend $550 for a setup that did the same thing for me as a $35 setup (also purchased from them, but later, after they lied to me and made me spend $550). They did not take my $550 setup back, not even with a penalty, as I had it for a couple of days more than the 15 day return policy. Anyways, because of them, got stuck with a $550 hole in my budget. Not nice... I asked for a wireless way to watch netflix on my TV. I was recommended a Samsung tablet with the AllShare wireless device. Paid $550 on them. The tablet kept disconnecting, went to return it. Surprise: Bestbuy changes return policy from 30 to 15 days. I had it for 20. Manager said he cannot do anything about it (SO HE LIED TO ME). He actually COULD but DIDNT WANT to do anything about it. I would have accepted to take it back, even with a 10-15% off (well, it was still an open item, although you can realize: no scratches, nothing wrong). The same day I found out that I could have used googles Chromecast wireless device ($35 !!!!!) to watch Netflix movies from any device with google chrome on it. Now I am stuck with a $550 tablet and device that I cannot return, because BestBuys advice. I just bought a laptop today, from Nashua Bestbuy. I wont buy anything from Manchester again. Cannot trust them.

I went in to Best Buy to have the Geek Squad repair my computer and they were wonderful. The female that was booking my appointment with the Geek Squad would NOT accomodate my military hearing loss problem even after I told her several times that you have to please speak a little louder. Im very hard of hearing. She completely ignored me and kept the same tone of voice.( almost talking under her breath after I mentioned my problem) I almost walked out of the store. I wanted to ask for another associate to help me that was a little more compassionate with the problem that a lot of Veterans have these days and thats major hearing loss due to serving in active duty in the military like I have. Im not the only one that goes to Best Buy with a hearing problem, and to me, that pathetic female should be terminated or sent to a school that teaches customer compassion. If it wasnt for Veterans, she wouldnt even be free to work there.

This store has the worst customer service. Was promised a refund or replacement of product if we had issues, ensured by the sales supervisor. He gave us his card with written instruction to allow for the refund upon return. The assistant store manager will not stand by the promise made. He was extremely rude. Never once tried to make it right or apologize. Spouted policy at me. Talked at me, not to me. Rude rude rude. I am not sure how he got his job. Clearly lacking the training in how to handle upset customers. When asked to speak to his manager he said to call 1800BestBuy. Btw- they do not handle management complaints. Must use feedback on website. I will NEVER shop at this Best Buy again. Another reason Amazon is the giant they are. Amazon knows how to listen and handle the issues. Luckily, the manufacturer stood by their product and gave us an upgrade for practically nothing!

Found a Lifeproof iPhone case on clearance for the same price as the newest model. I inquired an employee and they told me to ask someone else. I found someone else. The girl was rude and very pretentious. She explained its on clearance because they wont be carrying that color anymore. I asked why its the same price and was told "thats not how clearance works sir." Well, my entire adult life, a clearance has always meant and proven to be somewhat of a sale price. This isnt an alien concept and I dont appreciate my intelligence to be insulted. I find it interesting that Best Buy gets to determine the definition of things and try to take advantage. You wasted my time, treated me like I didnt know what clearance was, and will lose my money and everyone I talk to. Adios.

This is regarding their Geek Squad. My father-in-laws computer stopped working properly. They told him that it was fried and that they would need to send the hard drive to a service center in Kentucky for data retrieval. Then, they convinced him to buy a new computer to replace it, taking the old computer but giving him no compensation for it. What had actually happened was that the computer was fine, but a Windows update had overwritten the bootloader (GRUB -- it dual-booted Linux Mint and Windows 10) incorrectly so that it no longer booted. A simple fix in this case is to reinstall/re-enable GRUB (and reconfigure the boot configuration if necessary). I do not consider them competent or trustworthy.

THIS STORE IS THE WORST! Please consider going elsewhere as this place doest stand behind their products. I received a speaker gift from husband for Christmas which he bought for $150. Next thing you know it stopped charging 2 weeks after buying. We went to the store and they didnt even consider giving store credit or exchanging the item because my husband didnt save the receipt. Hannah "supervisor" gave me the worst attitude and was extremely rude. Not the customer service you expect in 21 century. I will never go back and will close the store credit card as well as inform everyone I know to stay away. BEWARE!!!

Excellent experience with Lindsay in computers and Justin the manager. I was greeted with a smile and I was helped by Lindsay, towards my final purchase. She was extremely well versed in every computer and mac in the entire department. She was easy to talk to and answered my questions without judgement. My whole shopping experience, including the manager, Justins fun personality, was the reason I will go back to this store. I would recommend Lindsay in this department for help because she can answer any question you have and steer you in the correct direction, without bullying you to buy. A+ Customer Service
