I went to the store trying to buy a ipad pro because it was on discount, first, one of the bestbuy staff came to me, and i told him what color i was looking for, then he told me they have the color I was looking for, and he went to get it. At the same time, another bestbuy staff (Rahul) came over quickly, he first gave me a dirty look and whisper to the staff who was trying to get the item for me. Soon, i was been told that the color of item was looking is out of stock, then i said do you have gold? he is like nope, then i said silver? he said nope, then I said grey, he is like, Oh that is the only one we have in store. ( I didnt want that color, but i knew they have all colors for sale in store, because i looked up online before i came to store). Then, I said "yes" to the staff, because i felt i was being discriminated already, I just want to see how they gonna handle me afterward. Then, Rahul took over my transaction, first, he gave that look again, and asking for my phone number, and i did gave it to him, then he said, "oh, your number is not on our system." and I was like "oh....ok???" and he asked for my ID, and asked me what is my zip code? .... i was like.. my ID is on your hand, why cant you read it? then he went and call the store manager, Jason, he took over my ID and without saying anything and went to computer to check for like 10 mins and told me oh, we cant sell the item to you because if you gonna use your coupon, and i told him, that coupon is the reason i came to buy the item because Bestbuy send the coupon and i want to get the discount. Then Jason said, if you want to use the coupon they will not sell the item to me, at the same time, there is like 5 Bestbuy staff standing around me, which had made me very comfortable, it is clearly I am being discriminated by the staff at BestBuy Everett, especially Rahul, I guess I will not going to Bestbuy anymore after all,I dont feel like spending money to get myself discriminated and insulted.

Best Buys policy of not accepting returns on any opened computer games has resulted in a poor customer experience. I bought a new game that was mac compatible today. It would not work on a macbook that I bought new from the apple store less than a year and a half ago. Its true that I did not check the system requirements before buying the game, so I am not blameless. I wasnt expecting any of todays games to not work on a machine that was purchased so recently though, especially given that I upgraded mine to have 2 gigs of RAM when I bought it. I brought the game back to the store and explained the situation to the store manager, who refused to let me return the item. I asked for store credit instead, but he refused that offer as well. I had even brought my macbook so that he could verify it wouldnt work if he chose. I understand the policy and the reasons behind it. I expected that I would not be able to return the game. I also understand that the store manager is just following company policy. Regardless, the experience has still been a poor one in my opinion. I was planning on buying a new computer within the next three months. I think Ill order it somewhere else. For what its worth, the customer service people assisted me quickly.

Bought four ipads last week with my girlfriend for our parents. The staff assisting us was really helpful and nice. We did two separate transactions and he was very patient. But it seems like the competition among these best buy employees are very severe, and another big white male staff was not happy about something, either he didnt get us as his own customers or he thought we bought "WAY TOO MANY" ipads. Anyway, what this white male staff did was that he went to the manage to snitch his colleague, who was helping us the whole time. And what the manager did is even more ridiculous. He followed us from a distance, staring at the four innocent ipads in our hands until we showed the front desk the receipts. And he also whispered something with the staff at front desk. This made us very uncomfortable like we were stealing something from them. They were very nervous from the beginning, I didnt know the reason at first. But when I talked about this to my friend who used to work at best buy, he thought they must treat us as resellers since we are Asian, and to them resellers are devil customers. This seems to me a huge discrimination. Stay away from this store if u are Asian trying to buy more than 2 items per person.

Me and my workmate came to this store this afternoon to buy 2 ipads for the company. During the checking out, I showed the staff my tax exempt certification which is authorized by Best Buy Corporation for our company. The staff immediately turned away holding the ipads in his hands. We were there like "what the heck is going on???" After 15 mins, a so called manager who name is JASON showed up. He asked for my phone number very rudely, and kept checking on the computer for quite a while. Then he said we were resellers and he couldnt sell these 2 ipads to us. I guess he used my phone number to look up my transaction activities in my Best Buy account WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Yes, it was me who told him my number. But did he say anything about what he was gonna do with it? And did he ask for my authorization? Hell NO!!!!! To me this is very unacceptable since they were reaching into our privacy. They set the price, the quantity limitation, and we followed their policy. We didnt steal or rob them. Still, they didnt sell us. Why? I can find no reason except DISCRIMINATION since I am Asian! I will never come to this store ever again, and I am going to complain more on other forums.

this location really sucks try to avoid it if you can. looks nice on the outside but as big as this place is its not so good for the service you get. for thing the bathrooms are always dirty and disorganized no soap hardly there is never really any paper towles sinks always have crap in them toilet paper amd other stuff all over the floors. its just unsanitary. i got hassled by not one but TWO employees asking me for a receipt of a phone card i purchased after uploading the value to the phone in the rest room because the store was so loud i couldnt even hear the instructions so i needed a quiet area and that was the only spot i knew. like dude for real you SAW me PAY for it like wtf? bottom line it has a good selection but the staff in here can be very rude so watch what you buy and who you get for an associate they really need to work on skills here the cambrieside galleria location is MUCH better as is south bay.

Best Buy as a retail store is really good. Their prices are generally the cheapest out there, especially on products that are 1 of a kind - especially specific brand, specific model products. But Ill always do a quick price search and theyll match right there. Id give it 5 stars but this specific store is a little confusing to see, find and get to and its on a rotary thats tough to navigate (especially going to this store. Even following a GPS will leave you confused (taking rights, staying in the right hand lane, no - not that right hand lane - the other right hand lane) and its not as simple as an extra drive around the rotary. Just considering the area, the shopping facilities and stores around there, there should be better signage directing you to BB. But as a store, they do have some of the best prices on some of the best products..
