My friend and I went when it was cold and misty, and we found the crossing to be very anti-customer. I wont be returning any time soon. There are no awnings to stand under, no protection from the elements, and the wind is terrible. Feels like it is blowing straight from the the North Pole. It was a long distance from one store I wanted to patronize to another. If you park on one end to be near a certain store, it is a long walk to another and back to the parking lot, often leaning into that killer wind. Why didnt they put the parking lot in the middle, then it would be possible to park near the stores where you want to shop. Those metal benches - when you need to sit to maybe rearrange packages or take a break are METAL; just imagine how scorching they will be in the burning Nebraska summer sun, especially for customers wearing shorts or short skirts - ouch! They wont be a treat when it is cold either. Much as I love Nebraska, there arent enough #10 days weatherwise to require people to spend a lot of time outside without making some concession to our invigorating weather. We are smart, and we know the climate has be be considered in everything we do. Did the planners ever set foot in that area before they began this grand scheme? Were any women consulted during the planning and design process? Maybe it would have been clever to put a bathroom and rest area in a central location, if there was a central location. To be successful malls need gathering areas where friends can meet, eat, and socialize. Socialization is a big part of the mall experience. I realize it was not the best day to visit, but there are a lot of days like that in one way or another, and shoppers will go to comfortable place to spend their money. Someone needs to put their thinking caps on soon.

This outlet mall is great, but convese store is suck. I bought a pair of shoes at Converse store on last thursday which was 6/9/2016. When i got home ,i tried them which its too slip so i decided to return them .however i lost my receipt . so i called them yesterday to ask if i dont have a receipt is it possible to return them .A girl answered the call ,she told me i can return them without a receipt within 30 days .i asked will the refund money go back to my credit card ? she said yes . So i drove to the mall this morning which took me half an hour to drive. when i got in the store .i told them i want to return them but i dont have a receipt .the name of sale women is Jennis . she said i cant return it without receipt .i told them i spoke to a girl by a phone call yesterday who said i can do it . Jennis said without a receipt she cant return it .she said this shoes is little bit dirty so she cant return them .i said i only wore this shoes for half a day . A african american guy showed up and yelped at me , he said i have two options, either i accept her offer ,or bring my shoes to get off . his attitude was so bad .i said is that the attitude you want to talk to customer? he said you have 2 seconds to decide : ,bring you shoes and get off . after saying that.he walked to the back.. i was so sad .i talked to the Jennis .i said i didnt argue with you ,why you guys treat me like that ? Jennis told me the name of african american guy. his name is allen who is the store manager . Is that the way you treat customer ? yelping and threating?

Visited yesterday for 1st time. We loved our experience at The North Face because we found some pretty amazing deals. Awesome prices at Under Armour, used the malls app for additional savings, and got a fireman discount ontop of it all. Wasnt impressed with the quality i saw at Coach. I have a coach purse i paid full price for and it just seems like better material than what i saw at the Coach outlet. The girls at Francescas were friendly but not as helpful as the girls that work at the Omaha locations, who always seem to help me acessorize and bring me other clothes to try on. Prices there seemed identical to Omaha Francescas (not like an outlet). Ate at Voodoo Taco and all the tables were dirty, the trash was overflowing, and it seemed very overpriced for what we got. The cheese for the chips was like cold canned queso you can buy from the grocery store. The best taco we had was the fried shrimp but it wasnt anything to write home about. We will definitely shop for athletic wear at the outlets moving forward!

Its nice to have some different stores not too far away, but as an outlet mall youd think they would have more sales and cheaper prices. Most of the stores though are same price as in Lincoln. Also they really do need to have some better amenities, as in maybe a food court since there really arent that many drink or food places around there. I think they should just enclose the whole mall, if I wanted to go walking around outside I would. A mall is a safe oasis, NEX is well not. Last time we went it was a few weeks after they first opened and it was freezing. I dont know how people are going to be able to shop there in the hottest and coldest days of the year which can be almost everyday of winter and summer. The only place that had a really good sale was Wilsons Leather. Where I bought a winter coat to walk around NEX in. Lol.

PROS: Better than it used to be, back in the old days of the outlet malls. Lots of variety, probably 3 times the stores they ever had before. CONS: Bring your wallet, because unlike before, this place is NOT an actual "outlet mall", they charge worse than most malls. The other problem is that they still have no "cornerstone store" like a Target or Walmart. In fact they fought to keep Walmart out of Gretna, and so Walmart built anyone, except it is about 5 miles away on the opposite side of Gretna. Having a McDonalds at the entry to your so called "outlet malls" isnt the same as having a true cornerstone store, and for that reason this place will fail, just like the one built back in the 1990s did.

Dont let my 3 star review dissuade you from going here. It is a nice place to shop and they do run deals that make it worth your time to go shopping there. However, I do have some gripes. Chiefly the fact that they decided to make it an open mall in the first place. Now Im certain some people love this and would disagree and thats fine. However, I hate tromping around in Nebraska summers and winters to get to stores. I miss the days of the traditional indoor Malls. But, I like the deals (there are usually very good sales) I get here and the good variety of stores.
