We were visiting Baton Rouge and saw a pamphlet at our hotel. So we decided to visit the outlet mall. We could not get to all of the stores in one day. Now, I am providing this rating based on my experience after a solid 2 day visit. I actually visited every store. I was surprised to find out that the coupon book that cost $5,00 does not contain exclusive offers for all of the stores. Actually several of the coupons had no value at all and were not needed, because the sale offered in store was the same as the coupon, The most disappointing was that several of the coupons have very difficult and/or limited use rules (depending on the employee you talk to in the store, as not all of the employees utilize the same set of rules) in most stores. One day I was allowed to use the coupon the next day I was denied the use for the same exact purchase. I went back to get a 2nd item after telling my daughter about it and sh asked me to pick her up one. So what would be the benefit of the coupon book? Some stores do actually accept the coupons, such as Bass, I was thrilled to shop in their store and purchase several items that were on sale and because I spent $5.00 on the coupon book I saved an additional $20+ dollars on my purchase at Bass. Thank You Bass, not to mention the employees were very nice and provided excellent customer service. I also received excellent customer service and made purchases at Dress Barn, Kitchen collection, Polo where all happily accepted the coupons with out any issues. The following stores I shopped either had No coupon in the book or refused to allow use of the coupon on my purchases Express, Coach, Reebok, Nike, Levis, Toys R Us and Guess. I chose not to make purchases at some stores that denied the use of the coupon with my purchase, because I expect to save money at an outlet mall: several of the stores had prices were the same as their department store where I would expect to pay full price. Often I would see prices that showed an inflated regular price, then a marked down price, Looked the item up online at the department store and the marked down price would be listed as the regular price, Very SAD that these stores are actually attempting to deceive customers. Would I recommend this Outlet? I would have to say yes, But I would also warn customers to be careful to avoid being deceived by some of the stores. Suggestion would be for the merchants; Provide coupons that ad an additional incentive and actually entice customers to shop in your store and ALLOW customers to actually use them on their purchases. Avoid strict limitations because this can cost you a sale. Just survey your clerks.

I visited this store to return items purchased online. I was unaware that the outlet store doesnt receive online returns. I was completely satisfied with that policy. Next, I wanted to purchase the pants or similar pants from that current store. I was informed they do not carry the same pants as online and the employee did not even look at the clothes I had in my hands. The employee was not even inclined to fulfill my wants. I was willing to send money in that store and only wanted some guidance on a comparison pair of the online purchases. I refuse to ever walk into that store because of the terrible customer service. I even called to complain to the manager but do not feel my problem was not resolved. I recommend you go to the MALL of LOUISIANA if you are in that area.

I had the Worst experience at the Tanger Outlet possible I went to the Levi store ,I came on Easter Sunday It was listed on Google to be open until 6pm I came from New Orleans I made it to the store at 535pm the door was locked with a employee standing at the door she was jawing at the mouth I wasnt even able to hear her i felt she wasnt professional at all about the situation it should have been handled differently. This lady went to acting Ghetto behind the glass when I asked her her name she refused to identify herself I feel as the manger or whomever she was could have at least been professional about things instead of making customers feel unwelcomed ... What a waste of time and gas

I actually know people who have traveled from out of state to check out our "lil Tanger Mall"! No joke! With the constant new change of stores (Id definitely call it an "upgrade of stores" myself...it just keeps getting better & better!) & the new buildings being added on, whats there NOT to love??!?? You can find just about anything @ Tanger w/out the hassle of traveling into Baton Rouge traffic AND not having to deal with quite so high prices...especially if you sign up for regular discounts...which only took me less than 20 mins to apply for tons of new savings from like 15-20 great stores (that I ACTUALLY shop in). GO, GO,GO!!!

I went into the customer service center on Sunday, April 23, 2017. Sydni was at the desk. She was rude and unfriendly and never gave eye contact. I suggested if she was having a bad day she should go regroup and return, so she can provide better customer service. She sarcastically stated she was having a great day. If she was having a great day, I would dare go there when she is having a bad day. I shop the Tanger Outlet frequently and have never encountered this type of service. I hope that she can get the proper customer service training required to enhance customers shopping experience at the Tanger Outlet.

My family and I love going out to Tanger!! The prices are awesome, and the customer service is on-point!! They are always sending out savings coupons for various stores, and they come in very handy. During our trip today, I purchased two pairs of shoes (one cost regularly $60, and the other cost regularly $80) for $31!! Its all thanks to the savings coupons!! My only thing is that I wish theyd send coupons based on the stores you frequented, but in the event that we get some coupons that we dont use, we share them with others who could use them.

Just want to start out by saying that I love shopping at Tanger Outlet. The only complaint I have is that when they have a coupon, all the stores tell me that they are not participating. Or for instance, I was sent an email for the Labor Day weekend, saying that I should go to customer service and show them this email and they would give me a $10 gift card. Well I did that and got the gift card. Yeah!! Only problem was that no store would take the gift card!!! If that problem would be corrected I would rate my experience 5 stars!

A lot of people knock this place, but it is honestly the best outlet in Louisiana. All stores are legit factory stores that offer great deals. No small businesses offering a couple of clearance items and fronting like a warehouse because they arent capable of maintaining the standards necessary to be in a regular mall. I am always able to find great deals in a very reasonable amount of time. This is one of the best exits between Houston and Florida.

Its a nice shopping center with a variety of stores and reasonable prices. The shopper coupon book offers an additional savings. I gave 3 stars, because the young lady that was working customer service and providing the coupon book,has TERRIBLE BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. She did not greet my party, even after being greeted and a thank you; she did not say a word. I visited July 9,2016 around 3 - 4pm.
