As I drove to the concrete jungle that is the outlet mall, I couldnt help but think, "Will I be able to find some brown shoes?" My previous brown shoes met a somewhat unexpected - but not untimely - demise at my grandmothers funeral (god rest her soul) when during my pallbearing duties, the sole of my footwear decided to depart as abruptly as the soul of my grandmother earlier in the week. "Will I find brown shoes? What store will have brown shoes?" I turned right. I saw the comforting tree trademark of Timberland. "TIMBERLAND! I KNOW THIS BRAND! They have outdoorsy stuff and probably have Brown shoes!!" I remember this because one time back in 1991 I bought a pair of Timberland brand brown shoes and I wanted to replicate the earlier experience. My wife usually buys my clothes now because lets face it, I dont care about clothes. BUT... I wanted to be a BIG BOY and buy my OWN shoes! The missus would be SOOO proud of me! She would say, "ooooo! YOU bought some shoes! nice!" And indeed she did. Because I DID buy some shoes. they ended up being boat shoes. I didnt know what boat shoes were, but they ended up being a good choice because we went sailing on the Chesapeake Bay less than a week after that, and BOY did I feel dashing in my new boat shoes on that sailboat! So I thought, "Well done, sir. You outdid yourself. You bought brown shoes all by yourself." And then the credit card bill came. Of course my wife is the one that pays the bills. This isnt to say I dont earn half the money in the house (I do)... She just is in charge of the financial stuff. I wash the dishes. She pays the credit card bills. And she said, "Your shoes were 85 dollars?" "Yes?" (I didnt know where this was going. Was this the deal of the century? Or did I pay too much?) It turns out it was the latter. And the moral of the story is... Never shop at this concrete hell. It causes marital strife. ... I have doubled my rating from one star to two, because the manager lady really seems to care about the rating. BUT I bet she gets a really good employee discount.

It is a large strip mall made up of outlet stores. We got a few decent deals here, to be sure, but unless you live close by or just want to shop and feel like you are getting a deal... Well - its someplace easily replaced by online shopping. I thought it would be more of a mall experience... Indoor. So maybe realizing it wasnt threw me off. Combine that with trying to find things with a 2 & 5 year old trailing along (and the fact that since it is an outside strip mall, you have cars to contend with and worry about your kids around) and I was not impressed. Again - lots of different stores, likely many good deals to be had (we got a few) - but unless you need to touch before buying or try on something - AND this place is already close by - just not likely the best choice.

He visitado 3 diferentes Tanger outlets en USA, y en mi opinión este es el mejor, por el numero de tiendas, la atención del personal para canjear los cupones, las promociones permanentes y la ubicación creo que es lo más importante. Un aspecto adicional a destacar, es el gran numero de hoteles que se ubican por la zona, ya que es más fácil hospedarse en San Marcos que en San Antonio.

Great variety of stores and brands to shop from. The overall design of the buildings and surrounding area is rather nice and modern. Be prepared to use your car to get from one side to the other due to the large size of this outdoor mall, but parking should not pose an issue as there is plenty of room available. Just remember this is an outdoor outlet, so you will be exposed to the elements so prepare accordingly. The only downside of this place is the pricing youd see from many stores is not what youd expect from a typical outlet mall. Yes, there are deals and specials to be found here but nothing rather extraordinary. Regardless, this place is never too crowded and can be great place to pick up some new pieces to add to your wardrobe.

Suelen tener buenas ofertas y gran variedad de tiendas de ropa, artículos para casa /cocina, zapaterías en un solo lugar. Es tan grande que muchas veces es más cómodo ir de una tienda a otra en auto o en los carritos del outlet. Recorrer el lugar te tomará todo el día. Cuenta con un par de restaurantes que ofrecen desayuno, comida y cena.

Amazing shopping, lots and lots of stores! ***TIP: be sure to bring CONFORTABLE shoes, there is a lot of walking to do, if you want to have a great shopping spree. Es increible para ir de compras, hay demasiadas tiendas! ***TIP: Asegurate de llevar zaparos COMODOS. Hay mucho que caminar si piensas tener un día increíble de compras.

Overall, I enjoy the shops at Tanger. I recently had a poor experience with Old Navy----a very snappy and angry sales girl and disappointing advertising. Signs everywhere for 40% off but there were "exceptions" not noted on the 75% off rack; other racks clearly stated "not subject to 40% off". I tried to discuss this with the young lady at check out, but she was rude. I decided to give her back the item (had to do a return receipt)....which she promptly threw the item on the floor behind her. She was also slinging hangers into a bin in a very angry manner. I was not the only person she was rude to. If I had her name, I would publish it.

Me and my Mother shopping every week in the Outlet.In October we a ready for the Family and Christmastime.We save so much money in the outlet for very good Brand and Quality.Thank you Outlet. Some Store has no Costumer,because the Staff has more important work to do.Like a Phone call from the boyfriend or finished some Games. Or when I asked for spezial Pants in the Uniform-Store.Then the answer was ""the next Corner on the right side".This woman is not taking care of this Buisniss.So I never going back in this Store.But I come back every week to shop in San Marcos Tanger Outlet.Anytime 5 Stars.

Yes I agree the staff in various stores are rude and i dont know if cavenders is part of the outlet but I was very disrespected by a staff member I was trying on boots and he came around me several times and was checking my feet thinking I was going to wear a pair of boots outta that place. All bc I like to look at every option..its called shopping am I correct? Then the very same staff member walks up and says can I help u I said boots a little tight he goes gets another size and just tosses it down infront of me n walks away . Ive never felt so disrespected in a store ever.

Mostly good service from all outlets, except for kenneth cole, where we wanted security clip removed that they forgot originally. We had our receipt even though it had been a while since we bought it, because we didnt live here. The man acted like it was a big thing, I think he thought we wanted to return the item without asking, we only wanted the clip removed, which he finally did; he apolyized only after thinking about it at the end and not while doing the transaction. All other outlets personnel where good and took care of us in a professional manner.
