My fiance and I have been renting and buying from here for a while, at least eight grand worth of merchandise. We never had any problems up until the latest. First the couches we picked out, after they were dropped off, had NOT been fully cleaned. There was dog hair and even a collar underneath the cushions. Which that isnt a huge deal, but it doesnt stop there. About a month later the store manager sold us a gaming laptop, said it was "good to go," and that it was "top of the line." So we took it home and tried to play games such as Totalwar and Sims. It was SUPER slow and would keep kicking us out. Little did we know it had a HARDRIVE CRASH...the manager didnt even tell us that until we inquired about it while paying the 2nd payment. He stated that his "team had taken a look and fixed everything." We went and bought our own antivirus, which states in the contract you had to provide yourselves. The gentleman who was installing it said the computer was running at less than 15% of its capability, and should have never been on the shelves. Obviously we went back to Rent A Center with this information wanting some sort of reimbursement (the antivirus was 99.99) The same manager then started arguing with my fiance saying he wouldnt be able to help us, because we should have brought it in to them when we noticed a problem. Then compared a our situation to a TV with broken pixels...totally not the same...that TV would be garbage. We returned the computer 100% fixed, so whoever buys it next, youre good to go!! After all this we will NEVER buy from this place again...try seeing people not as dollar signs...WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

When you get something that you are paying by the month for it should be in tip top shape. You are paying good money to rent a peice of equipment. The equipment should be cleaned and peices should not be missing. If you choose to give us a piece of equipment that is not ready for our use we should get a discount.
