***UPDATE 2/17/2014*** After posting my google review and filing a complaint at the BBB, Ive finally gotten a resolution and I am happy to report that I paid what I owed to RC Willey and they cancelled my account with Knight adjustment... AFTER 9 or so years... I can finally move on with my life guys. Knight adjustment made it seem like I refused to pay my debt when all I wanted was to pay it off. They benefit from letting the debt get as old as possible and taking you to court so that they can make the most money. Utah really needs to change the laws on how these guys operate. In any case, thank you RC Willey for handling this situation urgently and professionally. Because Of that I have changed my rating. ***************************************** I owed a debt to RC Willey when I was a teenager for about $300... If that. I was reckless and young and didnt know better. Last year, I started getting court notices from Knight Adjustment Bureau that I owe over 1000 to them for this RC Willey debt. I almost lost my cool. I have tried for OVER 6 months to resolve this debt that RC Willey sold over to them for SOOO long, filed so BBB complaints and now 1/29/2015 I am still dealing with it. I am honestly exhausted. I contacted RC Willey in an effort to resolve the debt with them since I owed them the money and I was told I was SOL. Knight Adjustment Bureau are the worst kind of people RC Willey could have gotten involved with. I have such a bad taste in my mouth for the whole practice that I have made it my mission to make sure no one I know shops at RC Willey. Yes, I was young and stupid and should have paid my debt I agree, but to be dealing with this issue almost 9 years later, and with an evil careless organization such as Knight Adjustment Bureau... I am 28 this year, I got the vacuum from RC Willey when I was 18, 19... REALLY??? I would rather pay RC Willey and forget about it... BUT NO!!!! Alas, I cannot. I will never take my business there ever again. Knight Adjustment Bureau is not worth it, they do not have any intention to collect debt, they want to make as much as they can on that debt. They don’t care about who or whom they serve. I have no idea why anyone would hire these jokers to collect debt when that is not their M.O. Unbelievable! I am without a doubt, disgusted!

I go into this store fairly often. I have gone there for nearly ten years now. I have no complaints about the shopping part of this store. The problem is with the office to pay for your purchase(s). The staff is very unmotivated. There is one woman who seems to do her job by the name of Lisa. Anyone that has gone into this location will know her as the only one that greets you at the front door, instead of sitting in the corner talking, texting, or using the the internet on their phones like all the others. Whether it is at the door, or in the office no one works. There is only one employee who works and that is Lisa. All of the others do is goof around. The worst one of them all is a middle eastern girl who does absolutely nothing. She never acknowledges you coming in or out of the store, and when she is in the office she sits with who I believe is the manager goofing around. Today I was in and there was a decent line waiting to be helped. One of the other workers asked (well told her to come help) when she said "I dont need to do anything. Im friends with Susan". I assume Susan is the one I believe to be the manager she is always sitting with. If you want to make a purchase from RC Willey do at one of the other locations. The one in Murray doesnt want your business. They want to just sit around and get paid to not do their jobs. You will be in their office for a long time to pay for your items due to people "being friends" with the manager.

Its true that you are more likely to hear about negative experiences rather than positive ones. Im guilty of it, too. But, I HAVE to rave on RC Willey in Murray for going above and beyond to make me happy. I was in a pickle. Our home movers screwed up the power cord to our adjustable bed. The bed was stuck in a position that is comfortable for TV watching, but not for sleeping. I called the RC Willey customer service number from my work place. The guy told me it would be Friday before anyone could come out. Say WHAT??? I was calling on a Monday, after sleeping (kinda) uncomfortably all weekend. No. So, I gambled and called the store where we bought the bed--the Murray store. I was connected to Jared, a manager. He asked me to bring in my faulty plug, and hed see what could happen. So, after work I darted home, grabbed the cord, and went to the store. For 45 minutes, Jared and a guy named Lawrence searched high and low for the same cord. They found one, handed it to me, and said theyd order me a new one, but to take this one and get the bed back to flat. And I did just that. These guys went above and beyond to make me happy and comfortable. There arent very many companies that would go the extra distance for a customer. Come on, Im nobody important. But, I was to them. That goes a long way in my book. Thank you Jared and Lawrence.

I have been a customer for over 20 years and have been happy. I have never paid late. I am so disappointed in the financial side of it...which I suppose is the ONLY side of RC WIlley. I looked past trying to over charge me as I had it corrected. I then got a broken table that swayed. I was told it would take 14 days to get a new one. I had my salesman correct that and one was delivered the next day. I also asked for the traditional financing and NOT anything with the 6 month deferred interest as I am not a fan of having a large payment showing due on my credit until it is paid. I got an August bill and of course paid 5 times the minimum payment, same with September...well this new billing is a mess. They had this on the 6 months deferred which caused a "late" payment and dome random fees. I called and the typical customer service rep who hates her job answered. I could not get a straight answer or any sort of help. I explained I would be closing my account and she said, "ok, great I can do that for you now..." WOW, amazing customer retention of a $16.00 late fee that was wrong on their part. I remember when it was good here and people cared but I suppose that is what happens with big companies and greed mixed with reps who are rude and not helpful.

I purchased 2 chairs and a couch. All lazy boy. The first chair broke in 3 weeks the 2nd one week after. The couch broke the 2nd time someone sat in it. I had someone come to fix it. They fixed the couch and 1 of the chairs. But had to replace the second chair because it was shocking me. Have not been able to sit in it for 2 weeks while waiting for them to bring me a new one. 9 tonight they brought the new chair. It has been snowing so I thought that was the reason they ran out so fast. But when I went in the chair was in the middle of the floor. I went to move it to the right spot. I had barely touch the arm to move it and there was a thud. They had broken it. They didnt even put the back on it. They broke the hole chair. I put the back on and the foot rest fell. I mean really messed up the hole thing. I gave them $20 for having to deliver it in such bad conditions. They took the money and did not say a thing. So mad. I mean I am paying a lot of money for they and they have been nothing but a pain in my ass. Oh and I have tried to find some kind of number to call. Nothing. I have never had this many problems before.
