I have always heard nothing but good things about this dealership. I have used their service in the past and theyre always courteous and professional. I have never bought a car here. I travel a lot and usually buy/trade 3 vehicles every 12 to 24 months. I always own 2 luxury vehicles. I have purchased vehicles in the past from several types of dealerships including Ford, Chevrolet, Lexus, Bmw, Audi, Mercedes, Nissan etc. I have never been disrespected and mistreated by any dealership as my experience at Mungenast Lexus. I did some research and knew what I was looking for. I was interested in their Certified Pre-owned 2014 Lexus ES 350 with 18,000 miles. It was advertised for $32,500. Plaza Lexus had the same vehicle with 17,000 miles advertised for the same price. My trade was a 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe with 60,000 miles. My payoff was $32,800. As I walked in the dealership was busy and every sales person was helping a customer, I was greeted immediately by someone at the front desk and asked to wait for help (i did not mind). A sales person named Nate initially greeted me, he was with 2 other customers. I told him about my interest, he took some information and offered me keys to test drive the vehicle. When I told Nate about my trade, without even looking at my vehicle he started shaking his head and said "whoever offered you that must be using Trump money or something." I had done my homework. He was full of it. This all took place at the front desk as you walk in the showroom. Another lady was also looking at this vehicle but then she was not sure what she wanted and started looking at other vehicles. I test drove the car, loved it and wanted to make a deal. Nate gave me a credit app at the front desk (even at a mom and pop used car lot, you sit a customer down in your office or a desk and treat them respectfully). I did so and gave him my keys for the trade. I was wearing shorts and a polo shirt and sandals. I probably did not look like someone who can afford a Lexus (i feel that way because of how I was treated). I also told them up front out of respect that I work in the business and was referred by a friend. Nate got the numbers and took me to his office. They offered me $28,000 for my trade (it books for $31,500 average wholesale). We were at $35,500 out the door. I understand theyre a business and want to make a profit. I respect that. I wanted to be at $31,500 out the door. I gave him a counter offer and also told him I was flexible and negotiable. Nate came back after speaking to the manager and told me they are NOT interested in giving me a counter offer. I was stunned. I told him again that Im flexible. He said his manager stated that if youre interested in being at $35,500 out the door, give us a call back. During this time the other sales person that was helping the lady interested in the same car asked for the keys. I understand maybe she made a better offer. But for them to tell me theyre not interested in negotiating or offering me other vehicle options or maybe even a lease deal, I completely felt discriminated against and disrespected. I thanked him for his time professionally and left the dealership. I drove to Plaza Lexus to look at their vehicle. I dont know anyone at Plaza and I was treated like Royalty. After 45 minutes of negotiating I ended up making a deal with them at $31,500 out the door. I am loyal to the establishments I do business with. I am sure Mr. Mungenast does not have the vision and expectations set for this dealership the way their management treated me. Its a shame. Also the General Manager at Mungenast was walking around, he passed me several times, did not even have the common courtesy of saying "hello" or "welcome". Made eye contact and kept walking. Wake up. This is 2016. Treat your customers with respect and have some Class. I am extremely disappointed in this dealership. There is Absolutely nothing this dealership can do to earn my respect as a Consumer ever again. Thank you.

My wife and I came in this past Friday to potentially purchase a new or CPO Lexus RX350. We were referred by a loyal customer who stated we should only look at Mungenast Lexus for our purchase. That day we met with Steve Zitko, who I had been in contact with previous to this visit. Steve was very professional and courteous in our previous conversations. When my wife and I visited, Steve was with another customer (this was at 3 pm). He stated he was wrapping up with this customer, but in the meantime gave us the keys to test drive the 2016 RX. My wife fell in love (her dream car is a White Lexus). Upon returning we waited for an additional hour and a half before we were finally given the opportunity to give Steve the keys to my car so they could check on trade-in (4:30 pm). At 5:15 pm my wife had to leave, so i stayed back to try to make a deal. Finally, at 5:55 I received my first sit-down with Steve (still with the customer he was with at 3 pm). After unsuccessfully coming to an agreement on the new Lexus, i was determine to get the CPO Lexus for my wife. Steve came back at 6:15 pm and stated there was no negotiation room on the CPO. I asked why I was given NADA value for my vehicle, but they couldnt for theirs? He asked If i would like to speak with his manager, and my response was "yes!" Steve came back at 6:25 and told me, they only had a $700 mark-up on the vehicle and stated "I saw it on the computer screen." I asked if i could see that screen that shows only the $700 mark-up, at which point Steve got defensive and stated "he doesnt have time." I did not expect to wait 3 1/2 hours to basically be given no opportunity to further negotiate a deal. Furthermore, I did not feel like we were treated properly (i.e. If your too busy , get another salesman to help). Referrals are a sales persons best friend, and Mungenast blew that! Always treat customers with the utmost respect, be attentive, courteous, caring, and TRANSPARENT! Looks like I will be going back to Plaza for my purchase...

Hi. I just wanted to email and say thank you for working with us and meeting us on our trade to allow my family the opportunity to be part of the Lexus family. We absolutely love our Lexus. From the time we arrived at Mungenast until our purchase was final, we were warmly greeted, treated with respect, given time to discuss options, and thoroughly explained the lease process. It was truly a wonderful experience. Joel Habermehl is very professional, knowledgeable, and he just made this a great experience. I greatly appreciated that because most dealerships you leave feeling overwhelmed and pressured. This was not the case at all. We would also like to comment on the professionalism of Mike Baek. He did a fantastic job with explaining the finance process to us. We felt very comfortable during this part of the process. Joel and Mike really hit it out of the park with us. They were very professional, but they are two characters! Laughing and joking was great therapy knowing we were leasing such an expensive and luxurious vehicle. I cant recall everyones name, but you have a wonderful climate and a great group of people. We decided to have stripes put on our new ES 350 to compliment the Atomic Silver, Susan took care of that for us. We leased the vehicle on Tuesday and by Wednesday it was complete. Most places would have taken half a day if not longer along with a wait period to even get the vehicle in. Donna really knows her "stuff" about all the gadgets in the ES 350. Although we werent able to get all of the "bells and whistles", it was nice to have someone sit with us, inside of the car and show us first hand how to operate the vehicle. Again, thank you for a wonderful experience. We did lease the ES 350 so Im looking forward to doing business again in the near future. For now, we are going to enjoy our Lexus and show it off to our friends and family. Thank you. Sincerely, Donnette and John
