I write this review with a mixture of feelings. I was super excited to see this shop open up at this location, but was instantly disappointed when I walked in. The store itself is exactly like the others in terms of how its laid out, but other than a "hello" shouted across the store, no one seems to care about the customers unless they want to sell you a salon service. Thats the only time I am ever approached. Trying to find someone for help is also incredibly challenging. The staff are usually gathered in the salon area, or not on the floor at all. When I DID find a person for help, she spent the entire time laughing because she was distracted by a conversation that was taking place over her earpiece. On another visit, I walked the entire store and was unable to find anyone. Honestly, use the extra gas and drive to Southdale. The staff there are far more helpful.

Im not from Minneapolis and my family and I drove down here from Calgary, Canada (18 hour drive BTW) and was looking forward to shop here when the lady who helped me was not a pleasant person. I dont usually write bad reviews because I dont want to bash companys but apparently Im not the only one who felt the same from that store. Thats obviously the last time Im going to that location. Wish they can show some compassion to their customers because Im sure if it was the other way around they would feel the same. 2 STARS because ulta is one of my all time favorite store and its too bad we will never have it in Canada so my experience there was unfortunate but in the end I got what ive been waiting for! If my experience was a tad better than it would have been 5 stars...just saying.

Ive been to this location many times, and every time I easily found what I was looking for, and associates were able to help my find the products not tested on animals. I am not giving the 5th star because a couple of the makeup artists really like to paint pictures on my face. Their faces are filled with makeup, which looks highly unnatural and unappealing. They did the same to my face both times, and I clearly had WAY too much foundation on. A mini-makeover is one thing, but prepping my face for a theater production is another.

The store itself was charming and well organized. I was in the store for over 30 minutes trying to find a few different products that I needed.to find. No one asked me if they could help me find anything, if I needed anything, and there were plenty of sales associates walking around. Once I had at least 5 items in my hands, one associate walked by but did not ask if I needed a bag or anything. Very disappointed, check out process was also long and only 1 person working checkout. Will not return to this location.

RUDE...RUDE and RUDE. Walked in and asked see if I could get a service at the brow bar. The gal was not there yet so I left. Went back an hour later and the gal was rude after I waited 15 minutes , told me I could ask at the front counter if there was time. UM, why wasnt I told that when i asked the first time? I will not go back to this location. WASTED my time.

Worst Customer Service, the employees are not trained and they are unaware of the products they have in store. I went looking for Bio Oil and I asked the store girl for it, she had no clue what I was asking and confirmed they dont have products of that company. I walked around myself, searched for it and found it..Viola....

Really bad service,walked in there and was waiting on someone to welcome me or come up to me and ask if i needed help! Just walked around the store and kinda helped myself while all the workers just had a lil get together by the entrance. If i need to get my favorite shadows again ill just purchase them online!

Everytime I have been to this Ulta theres no problem. However today there were 12 people waiting in line to check out. There was one girl ringing up people & she did great. Finely someone else came up to help ring up. Ulta needs to have more people staffed so this doesnt happen again.

I love this Ulta. My daughters and I use the brow bar, the salon, the esthetique and purchase our beauty products here. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. Love, love , love the one stop shopping for our beauty needs! Dont forget to sign up for the pints program too!

I love this store. The ladies are great, so helpful and knowledgeable! At this point they know me by name :) I have never had a issue with getting help, I am always greeted when I come in. Salon is great. Just a happy place, with great people!!

This Ulta has the worst costumer service. There are rarely any employees around to answer makeup questions. If you actually need advice on makeup go to Sephora
