My experience at this specific Sephora was so belittling. Im definitely not a make-up junkie and so I required major help. When I walked in no one greeted me yet they all looked up and almost rolled their eyes at my presence. I looked around a little (around 10 minutes) and no one even bothered asking me if I needed help. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed to say the least. Finally, I worked up the courage to approach a worker myself. This worker was not pleased that I was asking for help. Crazy, right? Anyway, I asked her opinion on a certain product and she was forcibly helpful. Then she kind of walked off. I approached her again and I asked her for a sample and she made it seem like that was nearly illegal. I felt so guilty and almost stupid to even ask. She gave me one though. I wanted to ask her for more advice but she kind of left me hanging (important note: there was no other customer there). The person that rang me up was also very....unfriendly. I just wished these employees were a bit more inviting! I know theyre not there to make me feel super at home, but a little less eye rolling would have been nice. Id rather shop at Ulta now.
