Very dissatisfied with this store. There is a mix of great employees and bad ones. You never know which kind of employee youre going to get. Secondly, the dishonesty is a common theme. For example, we were called by a salesman who proceeded to tell us that the ring we want was vault value, and would no longer be available. We had to hurry up because they were only going to hold it until the end of the day or we "may" lose it. Vault Value is a sham because a few weeks later, we went back on two separate occasions and we found the same exact ring after we bought ours under pressure. Then I called to try and make a payment over the phone for the credit account (which I will get into next), the store said that they cannot process a payment over the phone...Fine, I accept that, but then dont ask me questions, then rudely say "we cannot process your payment over the phone, you have to come in". I heard that and accepted that answer the first two times she said it. Lastly their in house financing is not in house financing (as how it was described), but, rather, a line of credit on their credit card, which reports to the credit bureaus as being maxed out (which hurts our credit) instead of it being a "loan" with traditional "financing" terms found in a loan. This company is so dishonest, I would not recommend going here. Period. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else, where they actually work for it...and not pressure you into buying.

Bought an engagement ring, wedding band, and my wedding ring there. I missed the 6 month cleaning by 40 days and that voided the lifetime warranty. They will not for any reason give you back the warranty unless you get the diamond replaced. My wifes diamond is chipped a little and they will not replace it or fix it because we missed the deadline. After spending $5,000 for all rings they wont do a thing for you if you missed the 6 month period. They only guarantee the warranty if you bring it in every 6 months and if you miss it once, the warranty voids. I probably would have spent thousands more over the next 10 years but will take my business elsewhere because of the customer service. Jewelry stores are a dime a dozen and this one is no different from all the other sleazy stores.

Do not go to this store!!! Me and my girlfriend purchased a ring there on 10/17/11 and it was suppose to be shipped to an Illinois store location. I called them on 10/25/11 because I still did not have it and they never shipped it!!! Not to mention they never called me back like they said they would to let me know what was going on I had to call them back 3 hours later to find out it just shipped that morning because I called. They didnt even ship it Next Day Air or offer me any sort of reason!!! This was horrible customer service and I dont feel like they cared at all. The only thing the manager could do is tell me that the associates that helped me will be talked to! I have had nothing but positive experiences at Jared in Illinois but this store is really tarnishing a great name!!!

I bought my now wives engagement ring here and got a great deal through a holiday promotion. I also bought her wedding bands that go on either side of her engagment ring. They were custom made and designed by Steven at the Edina location who helped me with both purchases for her and with my ring as well. He did a great job helping me and my now wife with getting the best deal and with helpful advise. I was amazed that he came up with a custom design for her rings on the spot and one for my ring also since I wear a size 17 and didnt want anything that was in my size at the time. I absolutely recommend this place to everyone no matter what your budget is they will work with you and go out of their way to find the right buy for you

I visited the store in Bloomington. The sales rep there tried to pressure us to buy like a used car salesman. We were there for a ring repair, and we bought our ring from Jared 2 years earlier. The sales person was not knowledgeable on how to grade diamonds, that or she was trying to get us to "upgrade" as she was trying to tell us our diamond, which is certified as a vvs1 was a vs2 because if she used really high magnification she could see flaws....duh, she either intentionally used the wrong magnification to make us feel bad or pressure us into buying an upgrade or didnt know what she was doing. I was no impressed.

I worked at this location during college and I still tell people that Ive never had a worse employer. Management does not intervene when associates steal one anothers sales commission, there is a significant amount of game-playing and there is a lot of judgement passed on customer buying decisions. I once witnessed someone saying that an engagement ring was ugly while the customer was in earshot...very unprofessional. Now that I have graduated and will potentially be in the market for a ring in the foreseeable future, I have already told my partner to not go to Jared because I refuse to support the company.

Jarod is the worst store to buy jewelry. I had my $20,OOO wedding ring resized there and they cracked the platinum band. The customer service at the Maplewood store is awful. My daughter in Phoenix sent me a necklace from Jarod for my birthday. I took it in to the Maplewood store to exchange it and they would not allow me to return it. I even had the receipt. Save your time and money and buy at a small family jeweler instead of a chain jeweler.

Please do NOT get any kind of jewelry from Jared. The staff at this store can be friendly but that is as far as it goes. They do not know anything about the jewelry that they sell. I trusted them with helping buy a wedding band. Now I dont have a wedding band and my engagement band is ruined. They will not refund only exchange. Very sad!!! For such a happy time in your life go where the staff knows about the jewelry. Please learn from our mistake!!

Ive had nothing but amazing experiences with this Jared. I brought a family heirloom ring to wedding day and they offered me $600 for it. I brought it to Jared the next day and they examined it, cleaned it and told me to have it professionally valued because they knew it was worth a lot and thought I should have it insured. It ended up being valued at $15,000. They didnt sell me the ring but they still treated me like they did.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The team in Edina did a great job guiding me to the perfect anniversary gift for my wife. I love the onsite service service center. They were able to size the ring in an hour. Going to other stores, it took days to get it sized. I was intimidated to walk in, but glad I did. They were warm and friendly. The environment put me at ease and I was able to be myself. Im glad I went to Jared!
