To summarize a long review: WDD is the best store we visited in our long search for the perfect ring. The customer service was amazing and I highly, highly recommend them. In January 2012 my girlfriend (now wife) and I visited WDD primarily because of the designers they carried. My wife initially spoke with Mikel Hueper, and we planned a visit to the store to look at engagement rings while visiting friends in Minneapolis (we lived in Cedar Falls, Iowa at the time). Unfortunately, the day we visited Mikel was not in, but the manager, Mike helped us out. We had done some ring searching before visiting WDD, but we had not yet experienced customer service of the level we received at WDD. Mike was fantastic as my wife had him pull out countless settings. He quickly was able to determine what style she wanted, and the ring we ultimately decided on was his suggestion. Picking out the diamond could not have been easier. Instead of worrying about the color, clarity, etc. we told him what size range we were looking for and he started handing us diamonds, two at a time, to compare. We both really appreciated the approach of simply looking at the diamond, without worrying about its qualities, because the look is what matters the most. After comparing a variety of diamonds we picked out our favorite. Mike had us take the diamond outside, in the tweezer-like holder, (to the snow-lined sidewalk, no less) to see how the diamond looked in natural light. Because we were still shopping around Mike recorded the rings and diamond we picked out. Fast-forward a year and a half when I was finally ready to purchase (wanted to wait until I was finished with college) and I contacted Mikel to see if they happened to have our information still on file. Surprisingly, they still had the information and had our diamond in stock! Mikel worked with me over the phone and via email (because we live in Houston now), quickly answered all my questions, and made sure I was completely happy with my purchase. In our search for the perfect ring we have not encountered customer service and an overall experience as great as we experienced with WDD. Highly recommended!

Let me start off by saying this was the worst experience I have ever had walking into a jewelers. When we initially came in it was our first time in a wedding day store. We were only browsing. We were told their warranties were good so we decided to check out the selection. We wanted to get an idea of pricing and what they offer for engagement rings. My significant other was going to return and work through the financial details. We worked with Lacey. We started by telling her what I like and she just went along with it with no suggestions. Then when I found a ring I liked she immediately started pressuring us to buy that day. She brought out diamonds for us to look at. We did like one diamond but were not ready to buy. It was the last day of the month and she was trying to get us into a leasing offer. Which we already stated we wanted to buy outright. She just kept pressuring us over and over again. Finally, we felt so uncomfortable we said okay we will just check the pre-approval process to see. She the proceeded to go check. Once she came back to tell us we were approved we just wanted to leave. She kept pressuring us to at least put money down in the diamond. The diamond was nice but we werent ready to buy. She would not let up so we put money down so we could leave. About 2 weeks later we receive a credit card in the mail. This is not something we agreed to AT ALL. We thought it was fraud and we were very concerned. We went into the wedding day again in Burnsville to find out what it was. They explained that no matter what you will get a credit card and credit line even if you just want to see if you can get approved. This was not explained to us. In our eyes it looks very criminal. We almost thought that was an advertisement and threw it away. In the wrong hands there could have been a fraud situation. We will never return to this location. I dont know that we will ever be able to trust wedding day enough to buy from them again.

ast August my fiancé Kate and I worked with Becca Fredin when we choose her engagement ring. There are no words that I could say that would do justice to level of customer service we received from her. I was planning a proposal in Duluth and when the ring was in danger of not making it to the store in time for me to pick it up, she literally did everything possible, and I mean everything, to ensure the ring was in my hands before I went up north. I was a nervous wreck for three days worrying that I wouldnt have a ring before I left and the intricate proposal I had planned would be blown. What a waste of time! Becca even had a back up already in place in case "The worse case scenario" played out. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Becca from the bottom of my heart for making my experience a Wedding Day Diamonds one that I wont ever forget! We have since moved to Burnsville and recently Kyle Schleis to pick out our wedding bands. Once again we had another remarkable customer service experience. Kyle, was a breeze to work with, and took the time to get to know our tastes and us. He knocked it out of the park with the two bands he picked out for us.

Upon starting our experience with wedding day diamonds in Brooklyn Park we were immediately met with cheerful faces and polite representatives who were both very knowledgable and very willing to help us. We had my fiancées ring resized and changed into rose gold, after a few months we realized we had rushed into the purchase without knowing what we would fully want. We moved and the Burnsville location became the closest one to us. We were able to have a design we liked better custom crafted and made all for around $250/month utilizing the amazing 60 month financing option they had available. Overall I was extremely impressed with the patience and professionalism exhibited by Dane Peterson at the Burnsville location. I recently purchased my fiances engagement ring at Wedding Day Diamonds in Burnsville. I was extremely impressed by their service and offerings. I had visited a number of other jewelers prior and many were more interested in selling me on the specs which obviously came with a higher price tag. The sales representative Anna was more concerned about what I was looking for in a ring. I gave her an idea of what I was looking for and she found a couple of different options for me to choose from. When looking at the diamonds she mentioned that it was more important that I pick with my eyes and not simply by the specifications or price. She gained my trust and a loyal customer going forward! My fiance and I couldnt be happier with the ring I bought at Wedding Day Diamonds in Burnsville.

My fiancé Dan and started working with Aaron Smith a few years ago when he was at the West End Wedding Day and subsequently purchased our engagement ring from him. Aaron’s service has been unparalleled, he is always willing to go the extra mile for us which is why we followed him out to Burnsville when he moved there. He has always kept in touch with us in regards to relevant events Wedding Day will be holding such as the Band Event coming up on March 8th where he will be helping us find the perfect band to match! Aaron has set me up with the ring of my dreams and I cannot thank him enough. He has been extremely professional and an absolute joy to work with which is why we ended up inviting him to our wedding… after all, he has been a very big part of our special day! :-)
