I was in charge of planning a surprise party for my moms 60th birthday. Last minute I had a freak out and decided there was no way I could make enough food for 30 ppl in the amount of time I had. We had a fiesta theme so I literally drove by this place and called them on a whim. They assured me they could make the food and have it ready (the party was only two days away). I was a little worried, but I had no other option. The food was AMAZING! What a relief it was. The price was very affordable and we had more then enough to feed everyone. The employees were very helpful and the food was ready right on schedule. Everyone at the party raved about how authentic and wonderful the variety of food was. I could not have been happier. I will be sure to visit the store again and recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I think the strength in this place is their deli. They have excellent guisado (stew) selections which vary from day to day but I can always find something delicious. Get their chicken tinga with some fresh tortillas and youre all set. They have tons of other offerings youll enjoy. Their meat department looks really impressive but I havent bought from it yet. Easy parking in their lot on the south side of the building or easy street parking.

We got food from this store for my wifes 40th birthday bash and it was incredible. The flavor of the carnitas was amazing and the corn tortillas and chips were sooo fresh. Dont let the neighborhood scare you away, because if you want authentic mexican food then go to this store.

I called this market to buy 60 tamales. I asked the guy if he spoke English. He said no. So I tried my best in Spanish and when I stumbled he answered me in fluent English. That is completely rude. I will not give them my business again.

I liked it. The carnitas were good, the salsa verde was spicy, and the pan dulce was awesome. My favorite pan dulce so far here in the twin cities.
