This is a great little grocery store. Its small, so the selection is not as large as a larger store, but it has a great variety of quality merchandise. Its a great place to go if youre looking to pick up some good quality staples, including produce - they have a very respectable variety of fruits and vegetables, and all the produce Ive purchased there has been good quality. Their frozen foods section is also pretty great - lots of variety, and lots of pretty wholesome/natural products as well as standard stuff. It seemed like the baking section was a little lacking, but to me thats not a big deal. Just keep in mind that if youre looking to stock up on baking supplies, this might not be the best spot. Their prices are fantastic, even without the volunteer discount (people who volunteer there get 25% off on purchases).

At first glance, Id call this place a tease, as everything has 2 prices: member pricess and non member prices. While I understand that membership only requires one short shift worked per month, I think its a pretty tough sell for a grocery store that is right beside a freeway exit on a really rough patch of Lake Street. Not easy to get to, nor real safe to park for any stretch of time. I wish them the best of luck, especially with the construction projects coming soon to that very spot.

Its a good location and that type of business had been missing from this area for a couple of years now. The prices are good whether u join the co-op program or not. Program = volunteer 4hours a month to help operations. They ask if Im a member after every purchase but not if I would like to join. The prices are comparable to Aldi and Cub. Very clean too.

This place is awesome! As a man in recovery trying to slowly put the pieces back together being able to afford to eat healthy is a BIG struggle. Being able to trade my time for a discount on healthy food allows me to stretch my income and save money to reach my goals in a healthy, positive way. It feels great to be part of something so amazing!

Delicious, fresh produce with lots of organic options. Prices are on par with Walmart, and 25% lower with a membership- which only requires volunteering 2hrs a month. Extremely friendly staff and owners, very welcoming. Theres even a child care room!

This is such a welcoming store with a good and practical selection of food at affordable prices, even more so if you volunteer a little bit each week. The energy of this store is outstanding and Im so glad that it is in my neighborhood.
