I only give it one star because I cant do none. Horrible experience every time I go in there. One day I went in and they didnt have anyone available to be a greeter which I have had every time I go in and the manager was "stuck" doing it... He was in a horrible mood from the second I walked in and didnt even say hi just signed and walked away after entering my name for the wait list. After me he actually told people the wait was too long and theyd be better off if they just left. Who says that? People were wanting to buy phones and were willing to wait and he wouldnt give them a chance. A guy also came in and asked if he could just ask the manager a quick question about returning a product he was told he could return and he said no he couldnt answer and had to wait the 1 hour wait time for a sales rep. to assist him. The question would have taken 2 seconds and he couldnt do that for the man. By the time I was finally called to be assisted a woman jumped up before me and took my spot who came in after me and another lady waiting as well so she cut two spots. My boyfriend confronted the manager about it and he said we should have walked to the sales rep. when we didnt even have any time do so since the lady ran to her. He didnt even apologize and offer his help instead when he wasnt doing anything at the time and was just sitting behind the counter joking around with a fellow associate. When the sales rep. Sarah got to helping us she basically had no time for me and was very rude and short with her answers like I was just a huge problem. She told me there was nothing she could do to help me and that I had to call verizon on the phone. I called verizon on the phone and after waiting a long time I finally got ahold of someone who said she lied and she could of helped me with what I needed done. She also lied on the notes section and said she offered me a bunch of solutions which she didnt. I had also asked her to make me a second account manager which she said she would do and when I called they said I wasnt added. Seriously!? When we called they told us to call the store back... we called 12 times in a row with no response. Finally after the 13th call they (manager) answered and we told them we were told they can help us and he told us- in these exact words- he has no time for us and he is busy with customers in store and we could come to the store and wait like everyone else (When we were in the store just a few hours prior and had no help) .... whatever. I was reading all the other reviews for the Eden Prairie location and all of them are bad. Please get yourself together Verizon or you will be losing a lot of customers.... especially me, whose family has been with you for over 15 years. Horrible customer service, horrible management, just horrible everything. If you need a good store location I suggest Burnsville. They were quick, and got everything I needed taken care of.

I live in Eden Prairie, so needless to say, Ive been here on several occasions. I had one good experience with a sales rep when there was no wait and it was pouring down rain outside. Though they told me they didnt have any black Galaxy S5s in stock, they later found 10+. I dont know how you misplace all of your inventory of the number one selling smartphone for the month. Went back again today with a 30 second question, and asked if the guy with the tablet greeting people could answer it quickly without waiting 30-60 minutes in line. He said no he couldnt because hes too busy managing the list of people waiting. From having worked in numerous retail jobs in my life and hosting for a very busy college restaurant, I can tell you from experience, this guy is just terrible at his job. I got the impression he was the manager, but Im not 100% on that. A system is only as good as the people managing it, and this guy doesnt have a clue about what hes doing. I was iffy on leaving a negative review as I dont like to do that, but after reading some other reviews, they all seem to echo the exact same issues Ive had. Get yourselves a real manager, and learn how to effectively manage a customer queue. Dont make people with 30 second questions wait in line for 30-60 minutes when you could take 30 seconds to simply answer the question. Basically, just get rid of the lazy manager or whoever the guy was up front today. Hes awful at his job. Between this and phone support, its amazing these companies continue to exist.

I pay a lot of money for my phone service and have been with Verizon for many years. I have never been so disappointed in their service since I moved to the Twin Cities and EVERY TIME I go into the Eden Prairie store for help the customer service is horrible. Today I went in to get some help with my smartphone. I just switched my second basic phone to Google Voice to save myself some extra money on my already expensive phone bill but my smart phone was not connecting for some reason. I was told all the reps are trained in understanding Google Voice and waited for 20 minutes just to find out the rep I got had no clue and when he asked someone else the response was "Google It." I was so disappointed I walked out and decided to switch cell companies. You would think Verizon would care more about their customers and offer better deals to keep them and draw new customers in especially since they own most of the cell towers and Sprint and TMobile and other cell services rent space from them. The people in this store only ever seem to be concerned about selling, selling, selling but once they sell it they could care less or have no clue on how to help with technical services. Another time my significant other and I went in only to wait for 45 minutes for a rep to be free to learn more about their new smart phones and which we wanted to upgrade to. The rep again had no clue about the latest technology and was of no help at all.

This is an actual corporate Verizon location which imo is the only way to go to a verizon store. Any company not officially a part of verizon really should have no part in my business relationship with Verizon. That said its not that much better here its just that youve got the benefit of corporate structure and policies in place as well as employees who although they may not be any more friendly or even helpful at least theyve got the proper information and often have helpful inside information also. I have only used the Eden prarie location for little things on a handful of occasions. If I bork my phone by rooting it and need a new sim card, or break my glass screen protector and need a new one, or just want a new case Ive stopped in here. I buy all my phones at the ridgedale location. Always have and thats about the only reason I still do. In general the Eden prarie store stops have been far more laid back and more of an enjoyable experience but Im not so sure Id be as happy signing my next 2 year deal with them tossing out $850+ on a new phone as I am when grabbing a free sim card. Im hesitant to criticize because I havent actually done real business with them. I will say that there is a distinct difference in the way either place looks at your business and therefore in how you are treated. Both have their positives both have equal negatives. So long as you stay corporate youre good in the long run.
