I have tried several times to do business with Celltec in Des Moines on University Ave. He only wants to do business with you if you are willing to give him your expensive equipment for pennies on the dollar or trade for very old equipment. If you challenge his prices or question the quality of equipment he will hang up on you and block your number. DO NOT do business with someone of his caliber. He will take your hard earned money for low end equipment and severely overcharge you for anything of any value. He will only trade if its good equipment for bad equipment. My situation. I needed a inexpensive iphone to get me by untill a phone i really wanted became available through my carrier. Said he was willing to trade me a old iPhone 5c 16gb for a 32 gb Samsung Note 4 in perfect condition. Thats a terible deal when those things are selling for 325+ on craigslist all day. He is selling iPhone 5c for 150 dollars. Thats too much when you can find iphone 5c all day for 60 to 100 dollars on Craigslist. Only reason I would even consider is because I need a phone for US cellular to get me by and the note is on verizon and I thought Id save out of pocket expense. So Then i said well what if I go to android and we talked about it and i thought but i have a apple watch and other mac devices and I would lose out on so much connectivity so i inquired about the Samsung gear S3 and he said he had a Samsung S2 that hes be willing to trade for my apple watch which again is huge difference in price. Long of the short of it this guy will rob you blind DO NOT DO BUSINESS with him. Boycott Celltec. And if this ad gets taken down Ill create another and another and another until He calls and apologizes to me or posts a public appology. Heck Ill even take a text message and he has my phone number

Purchased a iPhone 7 plus price was nice . Days later phone started acting strange. Called young man was told it is till under warranty take to Apple for any issues. Which I did and it was the screen needed replaced but what he didnt tell me if someone else had worked on this phone other than a Apple genius it makes the warranty VOID. I had to pay 160.00 because the screen had been previously replaced by a third party. When I called Celltec and told him I had to pay this money because it had been worked on somewhere else other that a Apple Genius his response I never open the 7plussbecause of the seal for water proofing you should of bought it to me I could have replaced the screen. When I reminded him what he had previously told me to do (take Apple Store) his response will you should have bought it to me. So in reality what I paid for this phone plus repairs I could have purchased a brand new phone. Lesson learned you get what you pay for.

I went to pick up a phone after settling on a price and the guy wasnt even there. The other guy that he shares the building with him helped us. He looked and looked for the phone in an unorganized filing cabinet full of phones. He found one that appeared to be it but it was dead so he had to charge it to see if it was the right one based on a wallpaper picture. After waiting 15-20 minutes for it to start up, we found out that it wasnt the right phone. He called the kid back to ask him where it was and he didnt answer. After all the wasted time, we left without a phone. Glad I didnt buy the phone because when he was originally on the phone, he said that he was selling the phone for $300 because he bought it for "half that." Very unprofessional and I will not be going back.

I called and asked him if he was able to replace the cracked digitizer on a Galaxy Note 3 for Verizon. He said he could do it and it would cost $90 and it would take about an hour. I dropped the phone off and came back in exactly an hour and he was done with it, but there was a problem he had accidentally cracked the LCD. It happens Ive tried replacing stuff myself and had that happen once or twice. He went ahead and replaced it with a brand new LCD and digitizer and charged me the same price he was going to for just the digitizer. Talk about standing behind your work. He is very professional and curtious and I would definitely recommend going back to him, If you dont want the hassle of trying to fix it yourself. Good job.

First the guy is super lazy and said it would take an hour to put a new screen on iPhone then took 3.5 hrs. Second besides horrible service he didnt even do it right my screen has came off since then and doesnt work and overcharged recommend going to cellular store to have it done right
