OK! first off I want to say the sales associate (female) who helped me on the Monday was amazing and I received really good customer service. It was the the customer service I received on the Thursday that week that actually pushed me over the edge. When I purchased my dishwasher I did not sign up for someone to come out and install the dishwasher for me I had decided a few days after to sign up due to the person who originally was going to help me was not able to. When I walked into the store there were a bunch of men sitting there and they didnt promptly acknowledge mine and my daughters presence in the store. Its took for me to walk over to them and tell them that I Needed to sign up for installation. Only one associate out of the 5 guys standing there jumped in to help. He was was really nice it didnt turn ugly until he had to ask another associate a question and that guy well was very rude and was talking down to me like I was stupid. Came off to me that because I was a woman I didnt know anything and that I was dumb for not having signed up for installation right away. He was totally inappropriate and could tell I was upset and starting trying to sweet talk to my 4 year old daughter who could tell he wasnt a nice person and was being stand -offish towards him. I was also taken back by the fact that when both associates noticed who had helped me out on the Monday that they both said the female associates name and rolled their eyes. I found that to be a complete disrespect towards her when she had done a wonderful job. I also called and complained to their manager and told them that they need to learn respect towards woman that if I had come in with my husband or if I would of been a man that they would not of treated me with such disrespect. On a good note the installation company they use has amazing customer services and are very flexible.e. I will never shop at Sear Outlet in Coon Rapids, MN ever again nor would I ever recommend anyone to shop there. They are a bunch of sexiest pigs that work there!

Update 10/22/15: The manager Eric, called me today to apologize for the poor service I received. In addition, he is going to credit me both delivery charges for the applicances. Eric did assist me while at the store and I was impressed with his knowledge and service. I can only hope he can get his team to follow in line with his philosopies. Good luck Eric, and thanks for doing the right thing!! I added one star to the rating. One star because I feel the prices are good (if you dont buy the extended warranty). There are add ons for delivery and disposal of old appliances too. The service totally sucks! They forgot to put the drain hose in the washer. The "manager" Larry never apologized but asked me to drive to the store to get it. I asked if he could drive it to me... He said he would over night one to me. That was Friday morning. By Monday when I had still not received it, I called. Again, Larry gave no apology but told me he forgot. Additionally, they ordered a gas dryer for me on line. No one told me or recommended that I also needed to order the installation service (another $130) because in MN they need to be certified for unhooking/hooking up gas appliances. I could go on... If you are going to buy here, I suggest you question them, check to make sure they have done what they said they would. Otherwise, be ready for some really BAD customer service.

After 2 days of trying to get someone from Sears Service (800-4MY-HOME) to help me get information from the Tech that came out to look at our oven/range 10 days ago, my faith in Sears was gone and I planned to never shop at Sears ever again. During the 2 days I was sent to the over seas Service area and they were unable to get me connected to the Tech or even see that he had come out. At one point I was on hold for 20 minutes while they tried to get the information from another system. I called the Sears Outlet in Coon Rapids as my last effort to get help and Kathy the Store Manager restored by faith in her Sears store. She took my information and was going to have the information I needed emailed to me so I can get it over to the insurance company. The call with Kathy was 20 minutes tops and she got me what I needed, compared to the hours I was on the phone with the 800-4MY-HOME Service area. Kathy was AMAZING!!!

Terrible snow blower experience. I bought a new snowblower. Was told to just put gas in it and it was ready to go. Put in gas and it wouldnt start. Returned blower, and was told they do not take returns, they do not refund money, they do not do repairs and they could not / would not help me. It was my problem! It is brand new. They told me I had to call Sears service, so I did. They sent me to dip off center 15 miles away. When I got there I was told they dont do drop offs anymore, and I needed to take it 45 minutes away to a small shop in St. Paul. Eve they were amazed I was not allowed to return it. The repair shop was closed when I got there, they are only open 8am to 5pm, so I would need to take off work. How can a NEW snowblower be my problem, and why I cant I get help. I took it to ACE and they laughed and laughed. I am so disappointed, my son used to work at Sears. I hope others learn from this! I did :)

first of all... the items listed on line WERE not the items in the store... and i called ahead... the ones in the STORE WERE 2X to 3x the cost ones shown online... but i spoke with a sales asso anyway and in the end did purchase an item... HOWEVER i returned before we ever loaded it in my car because the 3 males that assisted me in the back were so rude and disrespectful...i refused to spend my money there... went to the st paul location purchased the exact same item... and AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED with the TOTAL customer service experience!!! and by the way... 2 guys in st paul got the item loaded in my vehicle just fine... a little TETRUS but loaded just fine...and the 3 guys in coon rapids couldnt get to fit...actually didnt even try...

Pretty frustrated. I purchased a washer and dryer from this sears outlet. I specifically mentioned that I needed a natural gas dryer. Now I have a plumber ready to hook up my dryer and he is telling the dryer that was sold to me is set up for Liquid Propane Gas. Very frustrating and time consuming. I took a day off work to make sure this unit was hooked up right and now the job will not be complete, because sears did not inform me they were selling a liquid propane gas dryer!
