We bought our stove there, the price was not good, basically retail, we could had bought anywhere for the same price. So dont expect a deal. They had the color we wanted and it was in stock. We have never owned a glass top stove before and had no idea how much of a maintenance hog it was going to be. When we called and asked why does the stove top have black and brown stains all over it just from boiling water, they really didnt have a good answer. I told them that we would have to return it because it was just so gross looking and we couldnt get it off. They told us to use a razor blade to clean the stove top. And that returns are not an options. Even though it was less than 24 hours. So why pay retail if the service sucks?

I am a designer here in Springfield. They have a great selection of products where they fail is service. I placed a lighting order in April of 2011 and not only will they not call me to let me know when the lights arrived but they failed to tell me that some were back ordered until the middle of July 2011. I tried to talk to the person in charge of my account and they have completely stopped responding. I have call yet again to see if my last light was in and am still waiting to hear back. I was going to place a huge order for appliances with them but have since changed my mind and have already gone with someone else.

I have purchased several appliances from metro in the past and have never had a problem till now. We wanted to buy a whirlpool stove and a new washer and dryer. The salesman refused to sell me what I wanted and flat out called my wife a moron because she didnt want to buy a speed queen washer..... we have had a whirlpool washer and dryer for over 10 years, and we actually bought a whirlpool cabrio set from metro 3 years ago for our business. Since your salesman was so rude and refused to sell us what we asked for, we went to lowes and got exactly what we wanted. We will not be shopping at metro appliance ever again.

I remodeled our kitchen and purchased a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. The products were the exact same as I could have purchased at Homedepot or Lowes but at a much lower price. The sales staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable about their merchandise with my experience. I also bought a dryer that was cheaper than any of the other in town and online stores, it was new, plus I like the fact they take care of you by giving you the "extras" that you would have to buy and other stores. ie...power cord($30) and vent tubing. Love or leave em, I love em! Thank you Metro! :)

I purchased a cook top for my mom over two weeks ago and they never called back to schedule delivery and install like they said they would. It has been a week since the cook top was promised to have arrived at the warehouse. I have emailed two sales persons and called repeatedly, placed on hold for 15 minutes, still no definite answer except "Well call you back in the morning." Well see... Incredibly frustrating. At this point I wish I would have just ordered appliance from Home Depot or Lowes instead of trying to support a semi-local small business!

A few months ago I purchased my appliances through Metro for the first time. Everything was price matched and I feel I got a good deal. The most impressive thing happened after all my appliances were dropped off at my home. I ordered all stainless steel and was immediately disappointed with all the smudges. After talking to my salesman (Matthew) new appliances were ordered in a different finish. In my opinion that is great customer service. Will go back when its time to purchase new appliances.

Bought 4 appliances and 2 of them were broken appon arrival. It took a week to get someone out to look at them. so basically we had no dishwasher for a week and a fridge that woke us up nightly. We called every day. They didnt seem to care. Would just blame someone else. Except we bought it from them not anyone else. Poor customer service. NO __ NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will go somewhere else next time.

I had a great shopping experience. My salesperson, Greg, was super helpful. He knew so much about the features and warranties of all the different brands, wasnt pushy, was super friendly and the selection in the store was absolutely huge. So much to choose from - but Greg quickly helped us make an informed decision. Id recommend Metro and definitely do business there again.

So, heres the deal: the in-store experience was terrible. I couldnt find help and somebody yelled out to me when I was leaving, and that was it. In-store gets one star. I telephoned today and worked with Dustin and everything was settled in about 15 minutes over the phone, which would be five stars.

Great in-store service and a great selection. DO NOT let them deliver though. Fridge was scratched and appliances were supposed to be installed. Delivery driver left fridge and stove in the middle of kitchen, asked "cant you install this" then drove away.
