We purchased a Samsung washer and dryer. They said Samsung does not offer any warranty so we have to buy a protection plan separately. Online was showing 1 year warranty so we came back and ordered online. Next day before the pickup store manager Jim called me to buy a protection plan. He convinced me to buy it now and cancel it later with full refund and gave me his store no. to cancel it. Washer has some issues, I called customer care after spending 30 min with her she also scheduled a visit for technician then she found it was just purchased couple days ago so it is still covered by 1 year Samsung warranty so I have to call Samsung to send the technician....long story. Store manager lied like its not covered by Samsung then I called to cancel my protection plan, other employee said he is on 1 week vacations and noted my info. to call me back when he is returned. I waited for 2 weeks but no returned call. I called again then unfortunately same guy picked up the call and said he is left for the day and I will pass my info to call me back next day...still no returned call. After waiting for one more week I called them again then this time one lady picked the call and asked when I purchased the plan. I told the date then she said its more than a month now so store cannot cancel so I have to send a cancellation letter somewhere. I said I called twice but no body returned my call then she transferred me to store manager. He just asked for my info and put me on hold. I waited for 15 min but he did not come back. I disconnected and recalled then same lady said he is busy with other issues now she can take my info and when he will free can call you back. I tried to ask him whats going on I was on call with him and he put me on hold and looking into other issues. She said no problem dear he will call u thank you and hung off.... It is a big harassment. I dont know is Sears gave them these instructions to anyhow just sell the protection plans and harass the customer while trying are trying to cancel it. Looks like some employees also working on Jims instruction. They cannot run business long time this way. Sears definitely should look into. Thanks

Worst experience in my life!!! Ordered a range for rental property over the phone Thursday and was delivered Saturday without a powercord. Once power cord was purchased from sears Sunday discovered it did not work. Called sears outlet and was told would not be able to get a repair guy until 13 days. Was offered a return but told maybe the store could get someone sooner (thinking next day or so). Called Sears outlet twice on Monday only to be told they were working on it. On Tuesday morning Sears outlet connected me with Jim who with attitude told me someone would need to look at it before they would process a refund I stated that is unacceptable as I already ordered another stove HE HUNG UP ON ME!!! The sears outlet CSR was still on the phone and heard it but nothing was done. Called today Friday and was told same old thing they need to have a repairman look at it before they will take it back. Told them they can look at it all they want. How can they deliver a stove that does not work. How can they expect a family of 5 to go a week and half without a stove. How do they expect a landlord to put his tentants through this. I have lost money already on this whole thing and not to mention the 3+ hours of time on the phone with them. I will NEVER order anything from Sears again. They used to be so good and easy. Not anymore. Its over. Do yourself a favor and order your appliances ANYWAY but here. Good Luck.

Placed an order for a fridge online and quickly received a call back that the fridge that I wanted was not in sellable condition. I cancelled my order, as advised by the rep on the phone, and was told to expect a refund in 3-5 days. After 7 days, no refund was received so I called the store-- not one person there could tell me if my request had been processed or when I could anticipate a refund. After 10 days and 2 more attempts with the Minneapolis location, I got in touch with corporate and they assured me someone would be giving me a call back that day to discuss. Now, almost 14 days later, I have yet to see a refund or get a call back from them. TERRIBLE customer service. All it took was a call to say "hey, we goofed" or "were working on it" but they dont seem to give a rats about customer satisfaction-- no wonder Sears is going out of business left and right. Wont ever shop here again. I want my money back and I want to be finished in dealing with Sears.

THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY SHOPPING LIFE I cant express enough how bad of an experience this was. We were told 3 different prices on a fridge within 3 days. While I was on the phone with an employee I asked if they could give me a couple of prices on fridges and they replied "No, I dont much about fridges." "I dont work here a lot." I hing up. We were told that delivery would be free. Our card was charged $100. It took 3 WEEKS to get a receipt emailed to us. Sears hires out for delivery and let tell you these individuals are rude beyond belief. Save yourself time and a massive headache. Go somewhere else.

There was a lot of selection and great discounts on all kinds of appliances. They have new, refurb and scratch and dent. Theres nothing fancy about the store front, but thats why youre getting a discount... no money spent on lots of shiny signs and displays. The building is tucked away in a light industrial district. Blaine was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and I got a great new stainless steel Whirlpool dishwasher for under $500... Ill be back for my fridge and freezer later this year.

I went to Sears outlet in Minneapolis looking for a refrigerator. Thay had lots of choices and great deals. I had million questions and was helped by Larry. What a great guy! Knowledgeable and helpful to the greatest extent. What above and beyond what you would expect from sales help. Will definitely return there for my next purchase.

They sold an appliance known defective as fully functional. They also require you arrange (and pay for) it to be hauled back to the store after acknowledging it is defective, and make every attempt to have you settle for a partially functional or non-functioning appliance. I recommend everybody stay away.

If there was an option to give no stars... i would. I purchased a dishwasher that was suppose to be new, it wasnt. I returned it, 2 weeks later still no refunds after multiple calls to all kinds of people. The manager in this store is dishonest. NO surprise this company is going out of business.

Is this place a typical store? No, its a warehouse store with great discounts. Dan was great both times I was there. He was concerned about being able to help everyone and answer phones. Even despite the amount of waiting time, I will go back. I got 50%+ off my fridge with an ice maker.
