Sorry, 1 star for todays experience. My husband went to the Burnsville, MNs J.C.Penney to get new window shades. He had brought a couple of shades with him, and was going to ask some questions. The person working in the window treatment area, Anne, was very rude and disrespectful. She wouldnt let him ask his questions, and get more information on replacing some shades. She pretty much told him to go home and order shades online (read: get lost). I was very surprised by this, as I have purchased SO much from J.C.Penney. You would think that customer service would be a priority, as so many stores seem to be struggling to keep afloat. We will not be back to this store, it was a very bad experience. Maybe, Anne should re-think her customer service position.

I ordered some pillows online to ship to the store. After waiting 2 weeks I was told I needed to check with the store as it had shipped the day after my order. I did not receive any notification and my attempts to contact this store were futile. If you can even get through, you are put on hold only to be hung up on after waiting 10 minutes. Like everyone elses reviews, the service at this location is atrocious. Ill stick with Kohls and never order from jcpenney again.

I was a JC Penney card holder since 1966. I moved in 2003 and there was no longer a store conveniently located. In 2012, my account was closed for "infrequent usage" without any notification to me. Today I attempted to use my JC Penney card (no expiration date on card) and was told it was no longer active. This is a heck of a way to treat a 46 year long customer!

I went to remove some links from a watch. Three ladies in Jewelry/Watches would rather gossip than help a customer. When I asked if they can do it in 30 minutes, they said it takes all night to remove a link. They just didnt want to help. I had to return the product because of how bad the employees at Burnsville JCP were treating their customers.

I love shopping at JCPenny. I lost a bag today and the cashier Janna was so kind and helped me locate it, and another person brought it to me from downstairs. I didnt have to do anything but wait and be thankful. Thank you Janna for making my shopping even better.

This store has really gone downhill! Its a mess. No order to clothes and they took away cash registers so you wait a long time to check out. I wont shop here anymore. Its no wonder they arent doing well and are closing so many stores.

I used to find good Mens shirts, jackets, and clothing on sale all the time. It has been more sparse lately and I have had to keep shopping. It might be worth taking a look for discount clothing.
