if you sell your gold to ChecknGold you will walk out with about 2/3s of fair market value.. the will lie to you about the weight of your Gold, they will lie to you about the Purity of your gold, and they will try and lie to you about the Karat value of your Gold, and they have the nerv to try and lie about all three things in the same transaction... if your not sure about the value of your Gold, this is not the place to find out... I truly feel sorry for the people in this thred who got duped by ChecknGold... in my case they tried to tell me my gold was only worth $1100... I then went to another place and got almost $1900... you do the math. what they are doing should be criminal.

dont ever try to sell these people any jewelry piece if it was a diamond or gold piece cause they dont know anything about diamonds and they ask you how much you want so they can rip you off if u dont know the true value of the piece and they will offer you way less then the actual value of your item , my advice go sell your jewelry to a jewelry store someone who have knowledge and knows what they are talking about and how much its worth !

I searched online for a place to sell my gold. I wanted to be informed and make the right decision. I determined what the amount of gold I had was worth. When I went to CheckNGold after hearing their commercial and reading these reviews. They actually gave me $200 more than what I had thought because one of my pieces was 18k and 14k. Thanks for the lesson ;)

horrible service, we took a 6 month old watch that my boyfriend bought for almost $600 and they only offered us $75. The watch is in perfect condition, no scratches nothing, it looks like it was just purchased. This place is a joke. i strongly recommend you DONT take your jewelry here, especially if you need money.

If you know the actual value of Gold, Im suggesting you dont go here. Went here to get a quote and they offered me HALF of what any other company was currently paying. I suggest Tappers Gold right down the street at Partridge Creek.
