I have never had a worse experience at a store. Where do I even begin? In March, my husband and I randomly stopped in to browse & decided to buy a sectional they had on sale. The couch was to be delivered the following Friday (purchased on a Sunday) and one hour before our confirmed delivery time, we were informed that the delivery driver called in & wouldnt be able to bring our couch. Literally moments after my husband hauled our couch away to the dump. Thats only where our head ache began. 2 weeks into having our couch, the back cushions began breaking down and a week later the arm on the couch completely caved in. When we purchased our couch, we also purchased the warranty and was told by the sales person that the company would come out immediately after a complaint. Not the case at all, we would have to fill out paperwork, mail it in & wait 1 week to be contacted back, then set up an appointment to have someone come see if they can even fix it. At 9 months pregnant that was just not going to work for us. We called the store to inquire about the 30 day satisfaction guarantee & let them know that after only 3 weeks, we were very much less than satisfied. A "manager" answered, heard our complaint, responded with "cool", and hung up. So, we called the next day to speak to another manager and was told that we could return the couch within the 30 days for a complete refund. Happy with that answer, went out shopping the next day for a replacement couch. Due to miscommunication on what 30 days actually meant, we had to rush the couch to the store a day before we were planning to. While my husband was in the store getting a refund, a man from the loading dock came up to him and asked what kind of dogs we had and continued to say "I just need to know how the hell I am supposed to get all that damn dog hair off of that couch", to which the manager just rolled her eyes at. Finally, after getting the refund to our Sears credit card, that we got just for the couch because there was a special 0% interest for 12 months, we thought we were done. Got the credit card statement in the mail & found out the 0% interest was actually only until October, 12 months from when the promotion started (never once mentioned to us by the sales person) AND the woman refunded all but $.01 to our card! I cant even begin to describe my disappointment with that store. I will absolutely never step foot in there again. Whatever you need, get it some place else!

-BEWARE- THIS PLACE DOESNT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR Ordered over $5,000.00 in merchandise. Refused to purchase the "extended" warranty, even when the salesman told us that he could "guarantee" that something would go wrong in the first 5 years. When the delivery driver was loading the fridge, he noticed that the third prong on the "three prong plug" was gone and wondered if we still wanted him to deliver it. We said no. (Mystery that this plug was ruined and we refused the "extended" warranty)?!?! Just sayin Called store to see what our options were and they were: to come and pick out a new fridge or have the faulty plug fridge delivered and then service would come out for free (the first 30 days). Told specifically that the service calls CANNOT be made to the store. The item has to be in your home. Service man comes and tells us that this is NOT covered by service, its going to cost $256.00 to fix a plug and that even if we had purchased the "extended" warranty it wouldnt have covered this "purchased as is" problem. This place is pretty much a scam operation. I will never shop here again, Ill NEVER recommend it and I will tell whoever will listen how crappy this place is. Come to think of it, I think Ill be contacting the BBB also.

My first visit to Sears Oulet in Portage, MI. Walking through the front door I was immediately welcomed by Betty. I told her I was just looking and she said take your time and we will check on you shortly. I felt comfortable walking around looking at dishwashers when Quinton approached me and offered great assistance on prices, delivery etc. I was very surprised at the large selection of appliances. I choose a dishwasher and started looking at stoves while my salesman did paperwork on my purchase. I found my dream stove and purchased that as well. So what the heck, might as well get a new fridge! After choosing 3 appliances. I was told about the 12 months same as cash, % off for using the card and a $15.00 reward from MC. Plus the delivery services. Betty was SO knowledgable about EVERYTHING and I soon found out Quinton was a new employee. Betty was so patient and informative with him. I have told so many people how wonderful my experience was at Sears Outlet Store. I hope if they do buy from there they will also ask for Quinton or Betty so they have the same great sales team that I had. Susan Cook Kalamazoo, MI

Conklin Classics

We purchased a refrigerator from this store. We knew immediately that it was a faulty product. For the next TEN MONTHS we had repair techs coming to our house. We had to take work off over a dozen times to meet them. I spent hours on the phone with the company discussing our refrigerator. When the appliance finally was operable, I called the manager of the store & asked for some sort of compensation for the great inconvenience and vast amount of time we have lost due to this purchase. He informed me that there was nothing he was willing to do to right the situation. He did not even offer so much as an appology & remained smug for the duration of our conversation. Customer satisfaction is NOT a priority at this store. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The website is terrible. I went to check out with PayPal and got an error that my transaction couldnt be completed and to try back again later. Thinking that it was a PayPal issue I tried to check out with a debit card. That didnt work either. Then I sign into my bank account and I have a hold for both of those amounts on my account. I called customer service and was told that since there was no official order there was nothing that they could do and that hopefully the holds would be released in the next 7-10 days. In the mean time I have $1,000 hold on my checking account and no real guarantee that it will be released. They did offer me 10% my next internet purchase .... To be paid back after the order is complete.

I purchased my Craftsman push mower here quite sometime ago, and had removed the spark plug intending to replace it ..Yeah, I forgot where I put it.. I was at another store, but needed the # for the plug.. I called and an employee in Lawn / Garden / Patio answered, I explained my dilemma, not wanting to go through all the construction just to get there, He gave me the universal part #.. So, even though I purchased it ( less then $10 item ) somewhere else..Because of this, I will remain a loyal customer when it comes to buying small engine machinery ..The employees name is Mike.. Thank you very much for your over the phone help.. Two thumbs up
