Cannot recommend this business. I had a fridge that was malfunctioning at a property I manage - the freezer side was fine, but the fridge wasnt cooling. I decided to go with the Appliance Center because they were the only business who could come out for a service call on the day I called (I didnt want to wait) - I gave their service manager Mark the model number of the fridge and he said they would be right out. I quickly learned that I should have just waited for a certified repair man... The first day, they sent out a technician who was not familiar with the make of the fridge. He did little, if any actual diagnosis of the problem - just swapped out a circuit board. He said the model was too advanced for him - he told us that another technician would be out first thing in the morning. We agreed on a time of 9am. Well...9am came and passed. The fridge also stopped working entirely after the technician worked on it. Everything in my renters freezer thawed out . Both my renter and I called the store directly - we got no apology and were told that another person would be out that day. I stopped by the store to on my way home to get some assurances that someone would be out that day. Mark said he would. The technician did not show up until roughly 6pm. He informed us that the previous technician had swapped in the wrong circuit board. He installed the correct model and said the fridge should be fixed. Day three. Not fixed. We had the EXACT same problems as we had before we ever called - freezer worked fine, fridge was not. So they replaced a perfectly working circuit board with a new one....for no reason. I called the Appliance Center the minute they opened (9am) - Mark told me he would have to call his technician and see what they should do next. He said he would call me. I was expecting someone to be out that day (considering how much they had already dropped the ball). I called back at 12pm and then at 3pm - Mark gave me the same response each time: "I could not reach my technician." I asked Mark if anyone would actually come out that day - he said no. At this point, I decided to give up on having the Appliance Center repair the fridge and go with a factory repair technician. I like giving my money to local businesses, but I cannot support ones like this who dont have their act together. They have VERY bad communication and poor scheduling - no customer should be left in the dark as we were.

If I could post negative stars I would!!! This place is RIDICULOUS!!!! Me and my boyfriend bought a Kenmore elite washer and dryer set from here about 2 months ago. After getting home and repainting the set due to scratches and appearance flaws we hook them up to find out that the washer needed the drum to be balanced out, so then we call them to tell them about the problem and they told us due to us living so far away they could only meet half way which was fine for us. We just needed a time range due to the fact that my bf is in the airforce and doesnt get home until 3 or 4 depending on traffic and would have to load up the washer. Well after that they told us that they would call us the next day to give us a time and place to be and Oh my word did we get the run around. The next day we didnt receive the call as said then we spoke to mark and he had us get in contact with the delivery guys. And when we spoke with them we still did not receive the needed information and at the time had errands to run. So on our way to mobile we got the call and turned around and when we got home the guy decided he didnt want to wait and wouldnt answer any calls. And that was around 6 after we waited ALL day. Well by then my boyfriend is pissed and I calm him down and then speak with Mark myself and schedule the pick up. It was picked up a week ago and i asked for it to be returned in good condition due to me spending my time and extra money to fix up, but today when we met to pick up the machine I looked it over to find is WAS NOT taken care of at all!! It has glue all down the side and all the work I put into it was screwed and was all scratched up after I specifically asked for it to be taken care of bc they would expect the same. And not to mention we watched as the glue was coming off and the door would have fell. So glad I didnt take it home!!! I would NEVER recommend this place!!!

Bought an entire set up kitchen appliances from them based on their recommendations. The dishwasher quit working properly after 18 months. The service department people did not know what they are doing and do not follow up on what they say they will do. When they finally called back on the problem they said it was simply cleaning a sensor and they would deliver the dishwasher that day. We finally had to call them again and were told it was now some part that cost us $273. They certainly dont seem trustworthy or seem to really know what they are doing. I would never buy from them again. We wanted to buy from a local company but they have nobody to blame but themselves when people go to the big chain stores.

These guys are GREAT!!! As a result of things seemingly ALWAYS breaking down around our place, I have had to call these kind folks upon more than one occasion. They arent just selling parts. Rather, they took the time to walk me through the troubleshooting phase, as well as, explained in detail how to replace the necessary and defective parts. These days, there are FEW companies around that demonstrate this degree of patience and superb customer service. I cannot say enough good things about the good folks at the Appliance Center!
