Tryed buying 2 bikes today from these guys, but the stock was not available for a 17.5 frame tried asking questions on other models that was out of what i wanted to spend but was willing to just spend the extra money just to get out on the trails with the wife, but these guys didnt want to take the time to answer any questions and was point blank rude, acted as if i was bothering them . One of the guys was a nice guy but got pulled off helping me to go do something else so i got the rude guys i guess after one guy left to check the stock after acting like i bothered him another guy comes back to say stock is in boxes not ready for sale til after Tuesday, i asked about the 17.5 they had but got the HOLD ON and breaking heavy answer so i took my business down the road in waterford to a different bike shop, so if you looking for great service you may want to shop around at a different trek dealer or other bike shops. I have always been a trek guy but today has changed that for me and now i am rolling a different brand so i will just leave it at that.... happy shopping and safe bike adventures.

I get first class service every time I go to the store. I had a bad experience at another bike shop when buying my bike so I took my business elsewhere. I met Paul and he has been my salesman since 2011. And I can tell you why. I was in the store the other day and he was busy. Others asked to help me but I like dealing with Paul. I noticed that they were out of stock on something I wanted (they had just finished there annual sales so that was why). He had a few people waiting to talk with him. So I decided I would come back and didnt tell Paul I was leaving. When he saw that I was gone, he called my house saying he was sorry he couldnt help me but had hoped that others would help. I called Paul the next day and told him what I wanted was out of stock. He said they would be in in a few days and will call me when they are in. What a salesman. Taking care of his customer this way is why he has repeat customers. ACF will have my business forever!

Ive been to many bicycle shops over my lifetime and American Cycle & Fitness (Pontiac location specifically) was the best experience Ive ever had. My family and I will no longer go to any other bike shop, even the AC&F thats 30 minutes closer to me, because of the knowledgeable and friendly staff in the Pontiac store. They spent time with me to make sure I was purchasing the correct bike for my needs, set up a couple different models for me to test ride, talked shop about local bike trails and current bikes, and then went over the my bike with me to make sure I was familiar with all the technology (these newer mountain bikes have tons of gadgets). So, big thumbs up and thanks again for selling me a beautiful bike at a great price!

I should have stopped in years ago! I visited this morning after I discovered a flat tire. I did not know if they would stock the odd size inner tube that I needed. Louis, the store manager, looked at the inner tube and knew immediately it was a 20" and picked out a replacement from his shelf. Louis was super friendly, and gave me a tour of the shop. His passion for bikes and Pontiac was clear. I am really glad I visited. I will never buy from the national chain Performance Bike again! American Cycle and Fitness is a local Michigan chain of six stores and deserves our business!

Worked with Paul a few weeks ago when I visited the first time and the entire staff was extremely helpful and invested in what i was looking for, a new bike to do my first 70.3 mile triathlon with. Cycling is a new sport for me and they never talked down to me and explained everything. They even switched over water cages, seats, pedals and everything i needed from my old to new bike. I will be visiting again with any cycling needs I may have in the future.

Great customer service. The day after buying a bike from another ACF location, I deciding to exchange it for a different size. They helped me get the bike off of my roof rack and back on. No questions asked with my receipt in hand... they simply got the after market stuff off of the other bike and put it on the one I was getting, then the tech gave it a once over. It was quick and painless.... ready to ride! I highly recommend this bike shop.

Julia helped me pick out the perfect Trek 8.4 DS Viper 2 weeks ago. She was excellent to work with, taught me all the things I needed to know about the bike and accessories. She made some recommendations to my friend on her existing bike. Two weeks later, my friend bought the exact same bike with Julias help again. What an awesome establishment so willing to teach you everything you need to know about biking. Great people, great place!

Paul was very helpful explaining the bike that I selected and making sure I was getting the correct size. Unfortunately it was fall when I ordered it and winter when it came in, but Paul and the store manager told me that they would store the bike until the weather improved. It was ready and waiting with all the accessories on it when I came to get it. I highly recommend the store. I think it is going to be a great bike.

The ACF in Pontiac has been apart of my riding experience since I started Mountain Biking several years ago. Theyve been through it all and Im grateful for their continued support. The store itself carries bikes for everyone. Youll see as soon as you walk in the door; this place is filled to the brim with bikes. Great prices, great staff, and great bikes. I wouldnt go somewhere else if you paid me to.

My husband I appreciated the large selection and expert advise on assistance with choosing the best bikes for our needs. Prices were excellent. We purchased 2 bikes as well as a bike rack. Staff assisted with assembling, mounting and teaching us how to use our bike rack. Excellent, professional service. Love our new bikes. Highly recommend!!

Bought a bike here today. Paul is awesome to work with. Knowledgeable and customer friendly. The rest of the staff were very pleasant. Solid choice of Treks (& others) to choose from. If you dont see it, ask. Theres a basement where they also keep some stuff. Going back to buy another soon!

Great place! This is a bicycle shop like I remember from when I was younger; Lots of cool bikes, lots of accessories, and guys who know bicycles and how to fix them. They repaired my bent "vintage" Schwinn wheel while I waited, and were very reasonable. Ill be back...
