Im new to road biking and came in to the local bike store to ask a few questions and buy a bike rack. The simplest of questions needed to be asked to the other three high school employees and when the grey haired manager asked me if I need help, he quickly dismissed me and WALKED AWAY MID CONVERSATION once I told him I had already had a bike and had questions about accessories. I asked if there was another bike store in town and then received attitude from a different employee. I have never been treated so poorly in a store that I would think would try to earn my business. Upset enough to write a review! Do not go here, better off finding a local bike store in a neighboring city.

Had my bike for a week. Took it back because it didnt fit right. The first salesperson let me test out the next size up. The guy in the back (20-30 year old) was rude and accused me of stratching up the bike and didnt want to do an exchange (even though I spent over $500 on bike and accessories). Then, an older gentleman who did repairs came out and adjusted everything, which satisfied me. They really need to get rid of these young punks who know nothing about customer service. I wish I had gone to another shop who takes care of their customers. I will not be doing business with them again- at least not until they fire these rude people who are not helping the business!

I took my bike here to get a tune-up. They said it would take 3 days and they would call when it is done. I call on day 4, they are not done. I call again after one week to follow up and they havent even touched the bike. When I ask what is taking so long, they tell me to take my bike back if I didnt like how long it took!!! Wow! Apparently they didnt need my business, I will gladly take it elsewhere. Awful customer service, awful sales stuff, awful service.... You can get your car engine replaced in one week but these guys cant a bike repaired in a week! I would not recommend anybody to go here for bike repairs.

I have tried this store twice- the first for a bike repair. NO problems and the young man I dealt with was kind and friendly and did the job. The second time- AWFUL experience! The owner (older man with white hair) was so rude to me and my daughter- he was dismissive and unprofessional, not to mention that he didnt have any customer relation skills and he walked away from me when I talked to him. If my daughters coach hadnt ordered from there, I would not have stayed! I cannot believe this place is still in business. If it is family owned, the remainder of the family needs to do an intervention.

Got a new set of Aluminum alloy wheels for my 1970s Schwinn Varsity, not only did they assist me over the phone with my myriad of stupid questions, they made smart recommendations, allowed me to pay over the phone with a credit card, and allowed my mom (who lives down the street) to pick it up. I got a wheel set, a 5 speed freewheel, and a few odds and ends... Everything was well wrapped and packaged (all the smaller pieces like the freewheel and a shrader to presta adapter were zip tied to the rims so nothing was lost. Not to mention their bargain rims were American made.

Weve been going to the Trading Post for at least 15 years. Weve taken our older bikes in for tune-ups and gotten the kids new bikes and accessories there without any of the problems the other reviewers have encountered. Weve gotten a myriad of hockey and soccer equipment over the years. Heck, even bathing suits! They have always been friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. I also love them for their honesty. When growing kids feet are constantly changing, they would tell if they needed the next size up or not in skates. They rock!

Had a great experience here. Took my two daughters in to get new soccer shoes. The staff there was very pleasant and helped out with everyone of our needs. Even though we went in looking for shoes, after listening to one of staff members go over the specifics on a bike that my daughter had an interest in, I ended up coming back the next day and getting that for her. I have many friends in the area and I am definitely going to recommend the Trading Post to them!

Aug. 5 I stopped by for information only and was greeted politely and told I could bring my bike around when convenient and they would help me with my problem. A little later I rode my bike to their shop and a young fellow helped me immediately to adjust my seat and advised me about different bike carriers. I guess I was lucky but glad I didnt have the "one star" comments from other dissatisfied customers.

Brought my bike for a tuneup....they broke the computer and all they could offer is that they would give me 1/2 off on a new one. They wouldnt take responsibility for breaking it and didnt seem to think it was a big deal or even mention it before I came to pick it up. Not worth ever going back!!!

Bike staff is SUPER friendly and goes out of their way to help - even offering to load/unload your bike from your vehicle. VERY reasonable prices, extensive selection of bike accessories and extremely quick turnaround. What more could I ask for?

Very disappointed with bike repair service. They do not stand behind their service and always go beyond written estimate. I would not recommend this store to anyone who is looking for an establishment that stand behind their product or work.

I bought a bike from there. I was told there is a complementary 30 day tune up. Called them up 30 days later and was told there was a 3-4 week wait in which they would have my bike. Awful service

They have a lot of stuff but there is one older overweight guy in there who can be very unpleasant to deal with. If you go in there try to avoid him or you may walk away very annoyed.

The best skate sharpening Ive ever had. They undid the crap job that "play it again" butchered on my skates.
