I would give this dealer negative stars if it would let me. Despite the bad reputation that the dealer already had, I chose to ignore all the warnings about this business and it was the worst decision I could have made. I called and asked about the car. On the phone, the sales person told me that the only thing wrong with this car is that it has "a couple scratches on the paint but the engine runs great". I take off work to get there and this car is covered in scratches, the arm rest was broken, and had no floor mats. I took it for a very short test drive (because there was almost no gas in it and they were trying to close the store) and I didn’t notice anything obviously wrong. We agreed on a price, well except for a last minute surprise mystery dealer fee. I take the car home and not even half way home the check engine light comes on. I stop and check it but everything sounds normal. I then get 10 miles from my house and the low oil pressure light comes on and the car dies in the middle of my street. When inspecting the fluids, it is painfully obvious they could not have performed maintenance or service on this vehicle. I had the car towed to the best import shop in town and they diagnosed it quickly. The entire engine needs to be replaced, costing around $4,100 and Marsh Auto Sales refuses to even pay a dime for any of the repairs just like every other complaint about them. They actually had the gall to say my story sounds fishy. Who blows up their own engine on the way home from the car lot? After reading their other reviews, this appears to be a long standing pattern with them. This is the worst dealership I have ever seen in my life. When I look at the other reviews, I can only assume they dont care about their customers or their safety. Update** filing an official complaint with the secretary state today and I encourage others to do the same to prevent this from happening more than it already has.

Prepare yourself for yet another negative review of this dump. This is my first online review of a business ever, currently its 2017. I dont submit reviews of businesses because I dont buy into reviews of biased opinions when I find myself saying, "think of the other side of the story". However, in my case the salesmen (2 separate young guys) didnt act like they would even care if their own hypetheticlal children would purchase one of these vehicles that had multiple issues. If a "used car salesman" should get a bad name, its because of this place. Surely they have good prices because they buy most of their vehicles at auction that came from Canada, but claiming they detail and top off the fluids is truly a lie. In addition, both vehicles I was interested in had major transmission issues. This also seems to be a consistent complaint among other reviews. They may look like they are a successful business but they seem to be the biggest and only car lot in the area for unsuspecting buyers that dont know any better. Long story short, dont waste your time coming to this place like I did. My (Chads) reply to the "from the owner" comment below: I didnt expect a well thought out reply and you definitely delivered that to me. You stated that I acted "above the world and degraded your employees". By me offering less than your asking price simply means that I think its worth less than youre asking, not because Im attempting to "degrade" anyone. Im almost even embarrassed to admit that I gave you an offer. I did nothing that was degrading as I am in a service job myself so I treat people like I expect to be treated. With that said, telling me "good luck in the future" Im smart enough to know thats a polite business term for ____ off. "Good luck" to me? It appears that only one of us needs that luck, Ive only given you only one of many horrible reviews.

I purchased a 2003 Chevrolet trailblazer from Marsh auto llc on March 15, 2017 and the minute I got home to Jackson, Michigan I was sitting at the light and the vehicle shut off. When I started the vehicle up again the check engine light came on. While continuing my journey home I started hearing noise form the front end and immediately took the Trailblazer to have the oil changed and have the vehicle inspected by a ASE certified mechanic, only to find out that the Ignition Coil needed to be replaced, It needed a new Front axle, 4 new Sway Bars, all new Ball Joints, a Power steering pump and last but not least a set of rear shocks. the truck was purchased for 2600 and it was advertised for 2900 on Cargurus as a LTZ and it was a LS. If you are operating a respectable establishment the customer should not have to get an inspection to drive home a properly operating vehicle. I was never offered an warranty and I asked the salesman Garret Salves had the dealership checked the Trailblazer for defects and he replied that it was driven and checked out and that it had no major issues. These guys are dishonest and I am making every effort to inform the public as to how this business is operating. I spoke to the saleman and he told me the sales manager JP said that they were not willing to do anything because of the AS IS warranty. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH MARSH AUTO SALES LLC. The total cost of repairs is 2500.... TREAT PEOPLE HOW YOU WOULD HAVE THEM TREAT YOU. I HOPE ALL YALL GO TO HELL WITH GASOLINE G STRINGS. PS I TRIED TO GIVE YOU ZERO STARS BUT I COULD NOT POST UNLESS I GAVE YOU 1.

Initial experience was great. The salesman I worked with, Jack, was personable, not pushy, and worked with me. He didnt have the "used car salesman" vibe. My experience dropped way down after the purchase when I received my title in the mail. The information had not be submitted correctly in that the lien holder was not listed on it. I called and left a message and got a call back from someone. He verified that they had messed up on that. The response was, "you can just run down to SOS and get a new one, it should only cost you like $15". No apologies, no attempt to make things right - it was as though he was putting it on me as it was my screw up. After some discussion back and forth, he reluctantly said I could drive back up there (1.5 hrs away) to pick up the $15 or he could stick it in the mail. So the mail it was. 4 weeks later (2 months post purchase), I still have not received said check in the mail. I called back and asked to speak with the manager who happened to be the same guy I spoke with before. He said he would look into it and follow up (still waiting for that call back a week later). I ended up having to take 2 hours off from work to take care of my newborn while my wife (vehicle/loan in her name) spent 2 hours to go get the new title at SOS. Because of the manager here, I will not shop here again or recommend to anyone.
