Dont expect to make any money off your dresses. I had three dresses that were average size for a combined value of $1,000+ I only received a check for $28.08 I think the store has beautiful dresses and is great for a buyer but not for the seller. Second Dance values their contracts more then their customers. I personally felt taken advantage of, I was told that they thought all the dresses would go quickly but that I needed to get my wedding dress cleaned first. We spent 120$ on the cleaning. Turns out the dress didnt sell so they donated it. I was going to sell my dresses online and I wish we had because now were out 100$ and I didnt get my wedding dress back.

DO NOT SELL YOUR DRESSES HERE. Not well run, and no one knows how to resolve a conflict, all the owner told me was I am sorry I am sorry but offered no compromise for the mistakes they admittedly made. Just kept pointing to the terms and conditions which is no way to run a business when you have made a mistake. OWN UP TO YOUR MISTAKE AND OFFER THE CUSTOMER COMPROMISE. I will never go back, take your dresses elsewhere but make sure you do your homework ahead of time.

Been coming here ever since they opened and it is amazing how the business has grown! The owner is always in shop and always very willing to work with you and help you find the perfect dress for any occasion! I consigned a couple of my dresses and it has worked out splendidly. Definitely would recommend to anyone to anyone who wants to clear their closet of any old dresses or if they are looking for prom, homecoming, or a wedding dress!

Just found the PERFECT dress for my Snowcoming experience at Second Dance in Grand Rapids! Stephanie was so helpful finding something that fit me just right, and brought me everything she thought would work for me…..lo and behold….TA-DAH! Wonderful. She even worked with us on price. Easy to find, pleasant shopping experience, I cant recommend it enough for anybody looking for just the right dress for a formal affair. Check it out!

Friendly welcoming atmosphere tied snugly into the downtown community. The store offered a great mix of designer/high-end department store selections at fair prices. I appreciated both the care of the dresses currently on the racks, and the appreciation I received for bringing in a great dress to consign. I would highly recommend starting your preliminary dress shopping at Second Dance before resorting to full-retail markup.

I have been to Second Dance twice for bridesmaids dresses and both times received excellent service. There is a huge selection and the prices are extremely reasonable. The store owner was very knowledgeable and helpful and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. I will definitely be coming back for any other formal ware and to say hi to the super cute shop dog. Keep up the great work Second Dance!

Dont judge a book by its cover! There is a hidden gem on Leonard Street in this store! You wont be disappointed. Lots of selection - short and long gowns. Very responsible, polite, young businesswoman in charge. Store is very clean and they are ready to help you find YOUR dress. Put something on consignment there, too. Very reasonable.

I went in today to purchase a pair of shoes and ended up buying 2 dresses and a pair of shoes! The value and selection of beautiful dresses is unprecedented in Grand Rapids and the customer service is excellent. I would suggest this store to anyone looking for a formal gown. I will continue to purchase formal wear here in the future.

Super friendly and helpful staff! Great selection of dresses, I was really glad to see they offer Plus-Size gowns as well! Why pay full price for a formal gown, when you can go to Second Dance and choose from such a great selection at great prices?! This is definitely the new "Go-To" spot for dresses!

Found the best bridal dress for $45. LOVED IT. The dress was for a semi-formal wedding which helped keep the dress cost down. I would HIGHLY recommend shopping here before spending thousands somewhere else. They also have bridesmaid and prom dresses.

This place offered many different styles and sizes. I found something I liked to wear to a wedding (as a 30 year old) as did my mother. The only complaint I have is its not big enough to house all the dresses available.
