Living close to Toledo, I had several recommendations to check out The Gown Shop Perrysburg. They all said TGS was the absolute best dress shopping experience that they had (even friends who shopped in specialty Chicago boutiques). Many of them are #TGSRealBrides today. Stacy was easy to work with as she helped set up my appointment quickly to meet my limited schedule while I was in Ohio visiting my family. I had a BLAST working with Stacy!! My sisters, mom and I were the only ones in the shop which felt so special and was a truly intimate experience. Stacy made us feel comfortable and created a fun, positive, and exciting environment throughout the appointment. She did a short interview with me as well as with my mom and sisters at the beginning of the appointment. She listened to what I liked and disliked and then picked out some BEAUTIFUL gowns to try on that definitely hit the mark! The second gown I tried on was "the one" and I quickly said "I LOVE IT!" even before she opened the curtain to show my sisters. Even though that was clearly the gown I loved, Stacy was so patient as I requested to try on the gown 2 or 3 times between other gowns. She is a true professional as she is knowledgeable and creative picking out not only the dress but possible accessories to help make each gown perfect for me. I am so thrilled with the gown that I found and the smile on my face was plastered on strong! I am still on cloud nine days later! The whole day was fabulous and I definitely had the special day and moment every girl dreams of! I have to admit Im a little sad it is over ;) Thanks TGS and Stacy for all of your help!

My daughter made an appointment over the phone for an appointment and was told by the owner that there would be a cancellation fee of $50.00 if the appointment was not cancelled 24 hours in advance. My daughter called and cancelled 26 hours in advance as she was advised by the owner. When my daughter made the appointment she was told that this was the busiest time of the year and appointments were limited and hard to come by. A few hours after cancelling, we received a call from the owner saying that we would be charged for the appointment even though we cancelled 24 hours+ in advance. When my daughter called to tell the owner that she was told there was a 24 hour cancellation limit, the owner argued with my daughter that she was wrong. She then argued with my husband and told him that he was raising a child who was lacking integrity and expecting to not have to pay for a service that was rendered! Seriously!? There was no service rendered and when you dont know the person you have no right to question their integrity! And this was coming from the owner! Who is she to question the integrity of others when she has no integrity herself? I feel that the owner should keep in mind the old saying of The customer is always right. She told my daughter 24 hours and she should honor that. I will tell you, we ended up going to Belle Amour and were so well treated! They were so kind and made the experience something that we will never forget! The Gown Shop on the other hand, is an experience we cant wait to forget.

I was completely impressed with every aspect of The Gown Shop and my experience with the girls! The selection of gowns, staff, pricing, and just the overall atmosphere was incredibly inviting- they make you feel so special! I had scheduled my appointment soon after my fiancé and I had narrowed down our wedding location and date. Unfortunately, things fell through with our venue. Not wanting to change my appointment, I went with my Mom and best friend. My vision for my dress changed slightly, being that we had plans to marry on a beach and now have decided on a Colorado mountain wedding. Erin was so helpful with her selections and choosing the style of dress that truly complements my personality and my body shape. I actually ended up trying on a gown I had no interest or intention of choosing and that was the dress I chose! I had my selection narrowed down to 3 gowns-Erin was so patient and had such a genuine approach helping me work through my decision. Stacey has done such an incredible job with her shop -its absolutely stunning! I would recommend them to anyone looking for their perfect gown, youll find it at The Gown Shop! Without Erins knowledge and guidance of bridal gowns, I fear I would have really struggled with this process. She made my dress shopping experience- I cant thank them enough!

I had a wonderful visit when looking at wedding gowns and ended up purchasing mine at the Ann Arbor location. I was promised a 15% discount off bridesmaids dresses upon purchase after I made an appointment at the Perrysburg shop. A month after my visit/purchase, I was informed the Donna Morgan collection would be discontinued and they only had select styles and sizes left. Seeing as I am having 7 bridesmaids I wanted to wait until they brought in a new selection of gowns. Well, apparently that isnt even happening now and Ill have to look elsewhere for bridesmaids dresses. Why does no one know what future plans are for bridesmaids gowns at the store? Not a single person has any idea what will happen beyond the next 2 weeks? That is bogus. Im disappointed the promise that was made was not kept, and that now my friends will likely have to buy a dress at full price somewhere else. Warning to potential customers, dont count on purchasing bridesmaids gowns here because they are in it for the sale and not the continued customer service after the sale.

I have never entered this shop. I tried making an appointment, and they said they require a Credit Card number to "reserve your spot". Meaning, if you fail to reschedule or cancel at 48 hrs prior to the appointment time, they keep $50 from your card. They mention that this 50 dollar fee could be used at the store towards your gown purchase. But what happens if I DONT buy a gown from them? They keep the $50. I am coming from Canada to the appointment, and there is no way I can ensure that I wont be running late with a hold up at the boarder, or traffic. So, if Im late, they take 50 bucks, reschedule me for another time (which Im not even in the country for), and hope that I buy from them because, hey.. Ill get that 50 dollars towards my purchase from them. Ill never enter this store SIMPLY because of this stupid ploy to help themselves to your money for providing NO goods or service. Brides dont have money to waste. Brides are hard working, and most often young. Stop putting your hands in our pockets and taking whats not yours.

I had the BEST experience here. Erin made me feel welcome and special. I had visited a different bridal shop the day before and was disappointed with the experience, so I went into The Gown Shop wondering if that lackluster experience is what I could expect here, too. It wasnt. From the moment we walked in the door, Erin made us (my mother and sister in law came with me) feel comfortable. She talked to me and really listened to what I said I liked/didnt like/etc. She picked out incredible dresses, each more beautiful than the last, and explained why she chose each of them for me, and when one of them was slightly over my budget, she let me know right up front and didnt try to sell me on anything I didnt want. I would tell anyone who is looking for a wedding dress in Northwest Ohio that they should go to The Gown Shop in Perrysburg. I found the perfect dress and had the most amazing experience.
