NOTE: The intent is to inform, not completely bash: I was hesitant to buy from here, Ive heard some bad press... but I was looking for a replacement NES system and was hoping they had one. Destiny Games here in Canton, said they might have them. They had two actually. Both look cosmetically rough, but not for the $60.00 price tag on it. I decided I wouldnt wait for an ebay/amazon purchase, and bought it. I was under the impression that the console would be clean and ready to work when I got home for that price. Nothing... not even a signal with the RF adapter, I heard noise when I picked it up, and as I lifted the case up, out came two pieces of metal and a dead lady bug..... I kept the metal and the lady bug and revisited the store. When I got there I found out that the "NES works fine when I used it" - Said the pencil lined-mustached clerk "So, I have to charge you the 20% restocking fee, it will work if you use Audio/Video Y/W/R cords, and leave it ejected, instead of pushed in". Which it also took him four tries to make it work himself (glitches aka dirty system) I mentioned this is NOT the way it is supposed to operate for one, and also they only gave me the RF adapter. I even tried to use my older cords, which did nothing (Y/W/R and a RF Adapter).... I had a long day, so it took pretty much all my personal control to not.... you know. The prices are actually higher than most ebay/amazon prices, even if you include shipping on a lot of their "Vintage" titles. The staff I met are NOT knowledgeable, just past the point of being acceptably nerdy (however the older guy who originally waited on me was actually quite a nice guy). After this debacle, I was told to visit and speak to the manager, because he wasnt in. I didnt want to cause a scene the next day, so I havent revisited (plus I bought a repairable unit - See further down). I even backed off when I came in, as the customer in front of me was buying the other NES they had, as I didnt want them to lose a sale. I stopped by Destiny Games that same day and purchased a broken unit from them for CHEAP, and within 20 minutes, I had a fully working system with no issues. I was an equipment tech in the Marine Corps, whether its games or machinery... I know what Im doing... I should have done what I did in the first place. Avoid this place, unless youre friends with the clerks, or youre into gaming with other random dudes (I thought this whole scene stopped after the NES and the 56k modem became the standards). My experience, hopefully yours is better.

The people in the shop lied when I Bought a ps3 they told me everything was working and a 30 warranty on it well thats bullshit. the 13th day I had it completly shut off and i tried to take it back and they said I have to pay 100 dollars to get it fixed even though on the reciept it said 30 day warranty. Dnt buy from here unless you want to get jipped. My best idea is just by new or use from competeing stores this one is worse than game stop ikr cant belive it but it is.

I have never been to this place in person, but after multiple times speaking with them on the phone, I will never visit. The staff is useless and doesnt know anything. All they say is "Sorry I dont have more information." Absolutely no customer service or assistance has cost this place another loyal customer willing to spend money.

Fast, friendly service with knowledgeable staff and prices you cant beat. I went in to get a disc buffed after trying all the tricks (eyeglass cleaner, toothpaste...) Caleb buffed it in a few minutes, gave me a tour of the store and offered some great game selections while I waited. I am now a customer for life.

I came here opposed to going to gamestop but that was a BIG mistake. The prices were just a tad higher but about the same, the customer service on the other hand was terrible. Just go to gamestop for no hassle service, theyll even help you if you forget a receipt there.

Very good customer service. I usually come in every week to play my games on their LAN center. Prices are decent, too. Just dont try to resell back. Anywhere else will give a moderately better resell price. Other than that, no complaints from me.

I recently called them to price out some items I had. Their pricing is very good and the customer service is exceptional. I almost felt like I was talking to a friend rather then a store. Would recommend this store to any and everyone!

Good selection of vintage games going almost all the way back, they even stock Atari and colecovision games. The store however could really do with a makeover as it is very rough around the edges.

I thought the service was excellent and the guy working there was very helpful. They had the old games and the new ones at good prices. They also repair scratched discs for only $3.
