The folks in lawn & garden are awesome. Even thou it was close to closing they 4 of them took time to look for the shepards hooks on sale. I would give them a five star but Deb at check out the mid aged short cut hair grey-black hair was in such a hurry to get out of store as it was 8:00pm. As we came up to the counter she was speaking to another associate saying couldnt wait to be otta there. So as she starts scan our plants-flowers. She is leaning against the belt button! Mind you here they dont bag your items!!! So four of our more expensive flowers had gotten squashed. After I pointed it out to Miss Personality! She apologetically stopped the belt. Then as Kelly Pearce was loading the cart she was rushing her by telling her where to put the flowers we had already carefully put in the cart to bring to check out! Dah!!!! The lady letting everyone out the store was very pleasant & patience as people got rebate slips If this wasnt bad enough. We get our two cars to truck & havent even got tailgate opened & young cart guy was standing there waiting for us to empty them out! Seriously!! Glad I dont come here for down. bay City menards is still the best. We checked out if there late one night & had to get stuff from yard. Mixed folks ever met including managers!

Brought a part in to my hot tub to find a wrench to fit it.. my husband found what we needed for it. Head over to buy building materials. We check out as we walked out the door a female apporches me ask me to come back in with her. As I come back in I am surrounded by Menards employees, Im like what the hell, someone says the other one has the purse.. which I handed to my daughter to help my husband push the cart of plywood we just bought. And other items. $150 worth of stuff. Then was escorted into a room with 2 chairs and 4 walls to be told to open my purse and take out the duct tape I stoled.. what the hell I say what duct tape?? So I pull out my hot tub part and say are you talking about this. Omfg your kidding me. My husband is trying to push around this cart with all our stuff on it so they couldnt shut the door on me. I threw my part back into my purse got up and said a few choice words. Called the manager who said basically oh well.. I will be calling corporate Monday..gonna steal duct tape after spending $150 in that store. I will never shop there again..

loss prevention stopped me and after they found out they were idiots they couldnt have the common curtousy to apologize for publicly humiliating me...never again take your 11% rebate and stick it where the sun doesnt shine. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!

I enjoy shopping at Menards. From the moment you walk in the door and are greeted with a friendly welcome to the time you leave and an employee helps you load your vehicle, the shopping experience is memorable and the savings are BIG.

We bought a keyless lock set but had to return it because it wouldnt properly work. They exchanged and gave advice based on other customers feedback, second lock set installed in 5 minutes and works great! Thank you so much!
