I came back to return a few items I had purchased from this location. They agreed on taking my items which was great. The cashiers were nice and understanding even though there was a little bit of dirt on the item cause it was on the ground outside. I then noticed that I forgot my wallet. So I told them I would be back shortly and that I had to run home really quick to get it. Which was 5 minutes away. So upon my return one of the younger ladies who must have been a supervisor had addressed me in a very nasty and rude tone and claimed that she would not return the items because here was dirt on them. She walked past me several times but only waited till after I ran home and back to deny me my return. TOTAL inconvenience. : ( Never had a probelm with home depot before but obviously this store in particular has hired some very unprofessional people to over see their business. Hopefully I can just go to another location to return my items. No double trips needed and no attitudes. I wont be coming here anymore and I will inform anybody whose interested in going here to find a better more customer friendly location. : (

Not that great at this location (Michigan ave in Dearborn Heights)... I asked if a partial pallet of concrete could be fork lifted directly into my pick up truck. I had (18) 60 lbs bags to load (1080 lbs total). 5 minutes worth of work with a forklift. I was told that I would have to pay for the pallet. I do approximately $20,000.00 in business with home depot annually as a general contractor and have never been asked to pay for a pallet. The young teenager who was so smugly matter of fact about him not loading the pallet before I went to pay for it really angered me. I told he and his coworker to call the manager over, which he did. When the manager arrived , I explained the situation and he informed me that "thats how they normally conduct business" He did ultimately tell the 2 employees to load the pallet and not to charge for it so in the end it all worked out but no thanks to the the employees

I had a GREAT visit to Home Depot in Dearborn Heights the other day :) I walked in and was greeted first and foremost, then asked where I could find something to stop some cold air coming through my windows. I was told hardware and was greeted in hardware right away by a man named Matthew. He met me with a smile and helped me so much he really was one of the nicest strangers I have ever met. The suggestions he made really worked out for me when I got home. I live in Canton but will return to the Dearborn Heights one when I need too because this young man was so helpful to me. Thank you Home Depot!!!

I live near this Home Depot, so I go there about once a week. The customer service is not that good. It is usually hard to find someone to help you and more often than not you get the sense that youre bothering them. Ive gotten to a point where I research online what I need and hunt for it while Im there. Other than the customer service, it is a typical Home Depot and is stocked with many of the things youd expect.

I go howre at least 5 times a week. Staff are OK for the most part, except for Bill. Almost every question you ask him he will tell you to go online and try to find whatever you are looking for or how to do it online. Bill thinks hes a security guard lol. What gets me if, he knows nothing, has a cocky attitude and not that nice (unless you are a nice looking female)

This place has a wide variety of home goods, and I never have a problem with finding what I need. I have a green thumb, so I especially like the nursery. The only problem is their prices can be pretty hefty sometimes, which is why I gave only 4 stars. Today, I spent $96 on flowers, but for this same price last spring/summer, I got WAY more flowers than I did this year.
