The Worst Propane Exchange Ever After running out of propane while grilling dinner I traveled to the Home Depot on 10 Mile and Hoover for a quick tank exchange. The parking lot was empty and I as entered the store I saw a lot of employees just standing around. At the return desk there was 2 employees. At the customer service desk there was 3 employees. The cashier lines were empty, but there were 3 of them talking at checkout lane 1. I had to break up a cashier conversation to make my purchase. After I made the purchase the cashier called for someone to meet me outside to complete my tank exchange. Outside I went to wait for the employee. After 10 minutes I walked back inside and asked the lady working at the returns department to please let someone know Ive been waiting for 10 minutes to complete my tank exchange. After another 5 minutes the employee finally showed up. I asked her what happened and why the long wait. She responded sarcastically "I just got the call." I was expecting some sort of an apology instead of this rude response. It took me less than 2 minutes to park the car and pay for the propane. It took another 15 minutes to get the tank swapped out before I could be on my way. This isnt the first time this has happened, but it will be the last. It seems Home Depot employees are more interested in hanging out and talking than helping their customers.

I loved my sales associate Dean in flooring Warren MI. Dean took the time and patience to help two senior citizens that didnt know anything about flooring. We bought the wrong flooring returned it, he talked to my floor installer and got me right. Dean didnt have all the tiles/planks I needed so he called Roseville store and got us together. Big Kudous for jpb well done. If u need any type of flooring go too Home Depot Warren MI and ask for Dean our hero..

Good sale on kitchen cabinates. Almost a whole kitchen coast me a little over $600. Need just stain and headboard kitchen is updated. Thanks Home Depot. As well needed grass sead but I will wait couple months as I was adviced to start it beginning of September or April to have the best results.

PROS: large selection of DIY goods, very convenient, truck hire available, large car parking lot, open long hours, self service cash outs, and customer toilets available. CONS : extremely poor customer service, over priced, poor/confusing store layout, no wifi, not enough trolleys/carts.

Because the gentleman I dealt with he just did not want to work his attitude was poor never smiled once anything I asked them he act like I was putting him out you dont like your job then go work somewhere else thats the second time this year since January this is happened

My 3 children bought me gift cards to purchase an all wheel drive lawnmower, they worry that my old push mower would give this old grandpa a heartattack. The two young men assembled it, put it in my car and gave me all the info. Just a shout out to a helpful staff.

Horrible. Waited over a half hour just to get a key made. Several employees walked by without even asking if I needed anything. Asked several times for someone to come make them. Took over a half hour until someone showed up.

Nothing was stocked, service was terrible, couldnt find any people to help us and the staff all seemed a little too old to be doing their job. pro desk also took a personal call in the middle of us trying to do a phone sale

This is by far the most customer friendly HD Ive been to. All employees are so engaging and knowledgeable. They dont run away/ avoid customers who has questions like the one in Madison heights.

I think its the best home depot you can ever go.they have the best staff working there.if you need help ordering i say go to the pro and ask for Tonya. Shes a beast at the pro desk.
