I was disgusted! I watched as a young black woman was practically forced by humiliation and intimidation to empty the content of her purse to prove she had NOT stolen anything. I later found that the man at the door was manager Dennis. The young lady was literally AFRAID to leave the store. I abandoned my would be purchases and by chance found this young woman visibly shaken and crying at a nearby bus stop. I learned shechad just given plasma to buy her husband interview shirts as the family has fell on hard times after moving to Detroit from Flint. Dennis should be ashamed with the way he treated this woman, not even a apology after she VOLUTEERED to empty her purse and nothing was found. The cashier had to assure her several times everything would be okay if she left with what she had a receipt for! This is not Neimans Dennis. I also noticed that you, Dennis, are homosexual-way to EQUALLY treat someone right? D I S G U S T E D

Most unprofessional place Ive ever worked. Run by racist, gossiping, hateful people. There is no real security the "Zone 5 and Zone 7" is non existent...its actually just a manager who is watching the floor, looking for people whos stealing stuff they are getting for free. Stealing is wrong regardless but they put on a big dramatic show for no reason and although salvation army is a Christian non profit organization, they pay peanuts. If you dont kiss the managers butts and are any other race than white, they trump up false reasons to let you go and they treat other races like crap...like youre inferior and the pay for what they expect from you is peanuts.

Lets be honest. We all know that the staff is more than rude. Only a few people are actually cool and fun to work with. The stuff they have is okay but some things are over expensive. I saw lots of bad reviews about Dennis and I gotta admit he is bad. Only good people I know of are Marty, Crystal, Dave, Kev, Keem, Kedia & Mr. Mario. Trust me when I say that this is not a good place to go shopping, its not good. Especially when you have kids on you. Theyll yell out as soon as you enter the store "please keep your children by your side at all time" I miss my people but I personally would never work or even enter this salvation army again.

This place has really friendly staff. Well, there are a few who work the floor that dont fit the overall attitude of the majority who work at this location. They have men, women and children clothing, shoes, belts and outerwear. They have Baby items, furniture, electronics, kitchenware, games and toys. They have all types of deals and color coded sales. If you want to take advantage of their buy one get one half off Saturday sale, go as early as possible. I made the mistake of going on a Saturday not realizing the sale and the place was bananas. It was crowded, hot and no.

I PERSONALLY LOVE this Salvation Army, let me say that first! This store is nice: However this one particular woman named michelle, Caucasian, heavy woman. Shes rude and to a certain extent I believe shes a smidge racist. The way she talked to my mom today was just horrible. I started to go off on this woman but I love coming here, however shes so rude I prefer let someone else go to her if she calls me next. She was rude the first and second time I got her...and rude to my mother today. I had to say...horrible. I wish I had time to speak to a manager.

I love this Salvation Army! I get the majority of mine and my families clothes here. I am a little obsessive about this place but I love it better than the mall or a dept store because u have everything! Especially at this location and the prices are way better than any other one. When I strategically put together a "Thrift Outfit" I get so many compliments people cant believe I got it here. Love love love!

I really like this store! Reasonably priced for most items. They always have new stuff and the staff are very kind and helpful. Tons of clothes with any size you need! Shoes arent so great, some are very worn and dirty and they are way over priced most of the time. And some other things need to be cleaned up before they add it to the floor but otherwise its a great place to shop for used items!

Such strange reviews on here...targeting black people for stealing?? Every single time I go here it is completely packed with people, and most of them are black...and almost everyone who works here is black...I really dont think anyone is being targeted. But anyway, I like this store, great holiday selection, a lot of cool furniture and a whole bunch of books. Tons and tons of clothes and shoes.

This store is always neat and organized well. I always find a treasure here and the prices are great. Selection is nice and high quality. Just recently I bought two 6 piece Pfaltzgraff bowl sets, brand new, $4.99 each. You do need to purchase bags or bring your own as they are going "green". If you buy a 99 cent reusable Salvation Army bag you receive 5% off everything that fits in it.

The workers at this place did not really do their job. When I went they were all just sitting down and talking and laughing. Also the place is really dirty because when I went, almost everyone in there was sneezing and I soon ended up sneezing too like something in that store was making people sick. Other than that I love the large variety of clothes that they have
