The worst customer service Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. This wouldnt be so bad if they actually put out a good product but unfortunately their computers are second rate as well. I had Mythlogic build a desktop computer for me several years ago. The desktop took them several months to build which you would hope meant they have decent attention to detail but I definitely do not think that is the case here. The first few months it spent more time in their shop than in my home to the point where I stopped having them fix the issues with this computer and just do it myself. The first issue I ran into was that the whole system would just freeze (this was a day 1 issue I had). I brought it in and after 3 weeks they said they were unable to fix the problem (after a little research on my own I figured out it was some driver issues which they had created). The next issue I had was I tried to install a new hard drive in one of the hot swap bays my computer was supposed to have only to find out that they didnt bother to hook them up. I brought it in again and 3 weeks later they managed to plug it in. Another issue I had was that I had paid Mythlogic $100 to overclock my system, which they recommended (big mistake!). The overclock was so unstable that I eventually had to undo it all in order to keep my pc from crashing constantly. $100 wasted. The only up side to this is that I got to learn about overclocking which was kind of cool! The next issue I had was with 2 display adapter cables that both simultaneously stopped working after 3 months of use. I took my computer back to have them fix it and 4 weeks later I finally had my replacement part. It was at this point that I gave up on Mythlogic being able to do any kind of repair in a timely manner. Another issue I have had for a while is that all the fans on my computer rattle constantly, I didnt want to wait 3 weeks for Mythlogic to try and figure out how to fix it so I just did it myself, so much for their great warranty! The final issue I am having (which has been in process with them for 3 months now) is that my video card gave out and stopped working. I had picked a video card that Mythlogic assured me came with a lifetime warranty. I figured Mythlogic would not be able to help me so I contacted the manufacturer directly to save me a lot of time and pain. Unfortunately, they told me that I need a proof of purchase in order to do the RMA. Of course Mythlogic did not provide me with this but the real kicker is THEY DIDNT BOTHER TO KEEP A COPY THEMSELVES. They did actually take my broken card and claim they worked it out with their representative but since they have been ignoring me for so long I am feeling like I am out of luck on this issue due to their incompetence and poor records keeping (plus the fact they have been straight up ignoring the ticket at this point for over a month now). I try to call them and the guy answering the phone literally says "I cant help you" and hangs up. I show up at their store and the same guy just shrugs his shoulders at me and then goes and hides in the back. Now I understand that things take time to repair or replace, the real issue here is that they go to great lengths to avoid giving you any kind of time frame about how long a repair will take and go to similar lengths to avoid giving you any kind of update on your ticket. While repairs can take a while, a simple update to a ticket saying they are working on it only takes seconds, something they will not respect you as a customer enough to do. At this point my recommendation if you want a gaming pc would be to go anywhere but here. There are several really good tutorials online and if you follow them you will have a much higher quality product than what you would get through Mythlogic. The reason I originally thought it would be good to have Mythlogic build a pc for me was their warranty but their customer service is so utterly terrible that it makes the warranty a moot point. STAY AWAY!

Im not big on leaving reviews, but I feel obligated in this case. A few years ago we were having some issues with our laptop and were contemplating getting another one (only computer in the house at the time). We were referred to Mythlogic via our neighborhood chat forum. Im not very technical so I was a little intimidated about taking it to a stranger. After meeting the staff, especially Charlie, we were immediately set at ease. They were not only extremely knowledgeable about the system, but they provided one of the best examples of customer service we have ever experienced. Charlie and staff took the time to correctly analyze the problems we were experiencing and worked hard to resolve them. That day we ended up leaving a happy customer with a working laptop. Since then I have returned to Mythlogic to purchase our 2nd laptop. Now my wife and I each have one! I HIGHLY recommend Mythlogic. Paul

Pros. They fixed my computer. Cons. Only after taking a month and a half to do it. Story: I dropped my computer off to figure out why it was crashing all the time. And to upgrade it to Windows 10. I was told 5 -10 business days. Seemed acceptable. 3.5 weeks later I pick up my computer after spend $175. Turned it on and was met with a Blue screen of Death. Restarted it and was met with windows 7, not the operating system I had asked to be installed. I notified them and asked them why they didnt upgrade it to windows 10. Theyre response. "Its a free upgrade and easy to install." Its not an easy install to upgrade to Windows 10. So I dropped it off again to have them do their job. Its been over a week after and I get notified that they still havent touched my machine. Worst Computer shop ever.

Hands down best computer repair place Ive ever worked with. Been here twice in the last 2 years for various issues with my laptop, including a cracked screen. Fair, honest pricing and both times theyve gotten it done even faster than I expected. Mythlogic will always have my business.

Service to replace a laptop screen is now 10 weeks and counting with only occasional, incomplete communication . I have been unable to reach anyone at Mythlogic either by phone or at the Mythlogic shop for weeks.The original build was good. Current service is unacceptable.

Best PC I have ever owned, still runing after 5 years. I still run the pm-170 My only gripe is that I did not specifically ask for a upgraded I/O. Thank you eric. Shame on dude who cant even install his own operating system.

Super awesome service, speed, and enjoyable experience. Great customer service, fixed a few errors I had (I created them myself). Overall, highly recommended, especially over name-brand gaming laptops/desktops (Alienware!!!!)
