Inept management. How bad can it get? Details... - website. After trying receive help by phone, I tried the website. It is not smart phone compatible. Wegmans forces you to set up an account with it or submit extensive personal information. Ex: Your street address is required to ask a question with its mobile interface. A week later you will receive no response, not even an automated message. Completely useless. - offensive to customers. I have had store managers cut me in line to purchase their own snacks. They have cleared out all breakfast items to bring back to their office making all customers in line have to leave. These are just two if many examples. - disregard to safety. They put multiple stop signs in front of the store. They and their security guards drive through them. Watch out walking. They walk by carts in the street. Thankfully customers are there to put the carts away. Have you seen the car break-in police reports from its lot? Lock your car. Also call the police if you need help. Wegmans and its security company will not help. It is sad. Wegmans is a great option for price and selection. Many employees who stock and directly work with customers are great and helpful. Some are forced to work very hard due to inept management. Store managent and main office support for customers are the worst.

Been trying Wegmans out a few times. Tonight stopped by, hit the prepared foods on the way home. Sushi section looked good, fella behind the counter presumably making it fresh. Except after I put a package of Vietnamese Fresh Rolls, Chicken, I realized theyd expired two days ago. Not "Sell By"; "Eat By ". This stuff was into dubious food safety territory. I went back to the counter and realized a number of the various selections were expired. What bugs me is folks had been standing behind that counter for *two* *days* without ever pulling the expired stuff. Dressed up in a costume, presumably making more, but never never doing the most basic checks on the dates of what was literally sitting in front of them. Leaves me worried about what other basic food safety expectations theyre not meeting. Looks great - but leaving two day expired barely-refrigerated stuff out to sell? Are they also checking temps? Washing hands? There is a lot of trust in selling food - and this Wegmans has lost mine.

Im so excited about the new addition to the Westwood University Drive shopping area! I usually frequent the Chestnut Hill location but I was already shopping in the area so I figured I could make one less stop. This location is huge! I suppose they have much more real estate to expand than Chestnut Hill. The rows of endless registers ready for the hoards of customers. The shopping experience was pleasant as usual with the plethora of choices before me. The aisles also seem to have more breathing room in between so it felt less like bumper carts. (This could also be because I didnt visit during peak hours...) I also want to note that they have a very small liquor store location on the right most side of the store, but they only carry beer and wine. The Chestnut Hill location has an entire floor dedicated and carry all sorts of spirits. Anyway this is still a relatively new location so I cant wait to come back and visit again when Im in the area!

Great food here. But its annoying to walk around.... the store wont even be busy yet theres still people in my way every step I take. Im here once a week. It has something to do with the design of the store, the isles are too narrow. At a normal supermarket like Shaws, the isles are wide and you can just get youre food....at Wegmans the isles are narrow and theres people blocking every step I take. Its annoying and Ive started pushing peoples shipping carts out of the way, which has turned into a fun social experiment (people get unnecessarily upset when you touch their in-the-way grocery cart). However, the food at Wegmans is just better than any other supermarket Ive ever been to, so I put up with the annoyance of walking around the store.

I didnt think it was possible that any local supermarket could ever out-do Whole Foods in Dedham, but Wegmans is so good it makes Whole Foods irrelevant. They have an amazing selection of normal supermarket items (unlike Whole Foods) plus great cheese, meats (even with Iberico ham!), seafood, and other specialty sections. Their prepared food section is a great place for lunch or dinner---better than all the nearby restaurants, actually---and we even buy sushi-grade fish at Wegmans to make at home. Or you can just buy the sushi they prepare onsite. Amazing.

After living in the Boston area for the past 9 years I never found one grocery store that I could buy all of the items for my household at. Until Wegmans came to Massachusetts. Produce selection is large and fresh, the to go and sushi items as well as hot bar are delicious, and their selection of organic and gluten free products is very large and reasonably priced. Also sell bulk foods and paper goods at better price points than BJs or Costco. Avoid weekend afternoons- the store can get very busy at peak times and often run out of certain produce items.

Finally Wegmans comes to my neighborhood! Their produce section rivals Whole Foods but with much better prices. Its the place to go for unusual Asian vegetables. Their meat and cheese sections are also top notch. The Wegmans organic line is abundant and fairly priced. Unrivaled selection and price abounds. The Italian influence of Wegmans upstate New York heritage is evident in their stock from the deli to the dairy and to the frozen section. Only draw back is the out dated upstate New York music they play in the store!

Wegmans is a mixed bag. Their selection of meets and cheeses is great, but for our daily grocery shopping they lack too many other things. No locally sourced carbonated spring water, for example, which is difficult to understand. Why should I have to buy water that was shipped from Italy? The prices are higher but the quality is the same as at our local grocery store. I can only justify the trip when I need special items for special occasions.

No longer as crazy busy as it was when it first opened. I really love the layout of this Wegmans. Everything is easy to find, and they have a bigger array of products that I expected to see here. I highly recommend the bath and shower products up near the registers...wouldnt normally think to buy this from a supermarket, but I was recently pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the bath salts (that you can choose how much to purchase).

A GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE! Wegmans has always been my favorite grocery store and I was thrilled when they finally came to MA. Meat and produce are always fresh and top notch. The Cafe food bars are always a stop for me, The Tastes of Asia bar rivals any Chinese restaurant that Ive been to since I moved to MA. Employees are friendly and helpful. As all Wegmans its a very clean store. I cannot say enough positive things about this store.

The first full sized Wegmans in the area. This is hands down my favorite grocery store to shop at. The produce The the freshest of any grocery store Ive been to (even the high end stores like WF) and the staff are always helpful and friendly. On weekends they have great sample stations where you can try some of their prepared dishes and food. Well worth the trip out. (Ps check out the train overhead as you shop in the dairy section.
