I shopped at the store in Medford, MA couple of times. I’m not going there any more. On January 21, 2014, at the checkout counter, the cashier said to me he needed to check my handbag. He also said he checks all the bags. So I handed over my handbag to him. However, big shock to me, my son told me the woman behind the man who was after me was not asked to see the handbag. It was irritating! Why did the cashier pick me? Did I look suspicious to him? My son then kept asking me why the cashier looked into MY bag. I contacted the store’s customer service for an explanation. No any responses from them. This Aldi is hostile!

They have amazing prices, which run 25-30% off Market Basket prices. The variety isnt the best, but what they do pack into this small store is amazing. Prepare to select from store brands only but what you find here easily matches or beats what you can find at other stores when it comes to quality. Service is very good here. I find that checkout lines move quickly though if you need a higher level of service your next best bet is to go to Stop & Shop, or better yet, if youre in the area, take a trip to Wegmans.

Discounts, discounts... Thats why you go to Aldis; not for the lack of employee presence, or small size of the store. The fact that they now except credit cards, the employees are well paid, pleasant as can be (for dealing w/the # of customers they have to) AND the quality of the prepackaged products (not ALWAYS the produce, but sometimes -OH MY GOODNESS them too)... these are more reasons to go to Aldis.

Halfway between a discount grocer and a cult. Once you learn the ropes, which usually takes just one visit, youll be in and out quickly, and usually save upwards of 50% off your normal bill. Instead of carrying 25 brands of coffee or almond milk, they carry just one. So if brand loyalty is a concern, move along. Bring your own bags, bring cash or debit, bring a quarter for carrying deposit.

This store is one of my favorites! The 16" fresh pizza is unbeatable! They sell the coolest household and garden items at low prices and good quality. From the mini eclairs to the 12 person lasagna, you cant beat the prices. Its a great store! I told my friends about it and now they shop there too. They love it and so do I.

You have to understand their business model to understand any posssible shortcomings and/or complaints you could ever have. All their "issues" are on purpose to make their VERY high quality food VERY affordable. Fantastic food at great prices. Google their business model and youll understand. WE LOVE ALDI!!!

Its affordable sometimes the quality of the produce vary. But good selection of frozen, dairy, cheeeses, and dried food items. A must go place for chocolate lovers as they have an excellent European selection.

Almost but not quite entirely unlike German Aldi. If youre German, youll be disappointed - you actually find more of your stuff at Trader Joes or Whole Foods. Theyre relatively cheap though.

Great prices, including organic options. Produce can have a short life, and lines can be very long, but the prices cant be beat. Dont forget a quarter for a cart/carriage and your own bags.
