This grocery store has a lot going for it - location is great on the T at Porter Square, it has a lot of natural and ethnic food options and teas. However, its almost always an absurdly long wait to check out. If you go any time between 4-7pm especially, plan for a 20-30 minute wait in line. Im not sure why this is always the case, but lines snake down the aisles and it gets really difficult to have the patience to go here sometimes for me. Ive given up and gone to the CVS across the parking lot for basics like eggs and milk before due to the wait.

The young man I think he was collecting the money from the cashier And my gift card wasnt going through so now I am sunbathing all cash items like WOW smh so he takes me to another register and proceeds to take of the who thing and to make a long story short he managed to find a way to get the card to work He was awesome. He need to be recognized the time and date was Sunday 13 8:45 pm

Pretty good market to buy almost everything you need. However, it gets pretty crowded in the evening after 6PM. You may have to get in a long line at the checkout, especially at the express line. They really need to fix that issue. Also, for some reasons, they keep run out of hand baskets at the entrances which is very annoying.

Crowded and expensive, and never enough cashiers working. They used to have a sign promising never more than 3 people in line but they took it down a while ago. I categorically avoid it during peak times (evenings, weekends) and go to Market Basket or the other Star whenever possible.

Great place to do your everyday grocery shopping. Has organic and high quality products, and generic, low-priced products. However, it is almost always very crowded and there are no self checkout lines. The "free" wifi is behind a captive portal that doesnt always work.

This store location has been ranked as the most expensive star market in the country. Its convenient if you live in the area but is always SO crowded, the lines are insane and selection is decent but overpriced. If you can food shop outside of the city, do it.

24hr grocery store is just magical. I go here out of habit now because of the few times I needed to go shopping after every other place had closed. If you stop by around 6pm most days, dont be surprised by huge checkout lines.

Always crowded, tends to be more expensive than other stores unless there is a sale. Long checkout lines. I usually end up in a bad mood after coming here. On the plus side, the people working there are usually very nice.

Utterly miserable at any time but the dead of night. Criminally understaffed, they removed self-check and appear to scorn anything that might speed up the process of escaping in under an hour.
